Hi Stefan, thanks for explaining staccato. One quick question. How do I know your left hand chords are quarter node not eighth node with staccato? Thanks!

Staccatos make the notes at least half as short as they would normally be. So technically, an eighth staccato should be sharper than a quarter note staccato. In reality, it all depends on speed and the surrounding notes.
