Something useful. The dino damage/resistance settings only count for wild dinos (including bosses), and not tamed ones. I recommend turning them up if you want a harder experience, or down for an easier one.

Yo best tip to give any early player. For the love of everything keep the trophies. Always loot them and save them for later. With alpha bosses you'll need to kill 100s of creatures being very annoying at the end and a simple inconvenience the whole way thru.

am currently working on a breeding guide for consoles. Most imprints are 100%/50% on first imprint without having to quit and change settings and load up again

The procedural ark isn't that bad, tried it for the first time after 6 years, the map was decent if not a little small but still nice! Worth trying...

Why is it when I raise my baby dinosaur the movement speed is too high how do I make it to default?

Some of the settings aren't explained really well... During the Valentines Day event I made a Dodo-farm. I raised the "lay egg interval" to get more event items. Since it was annoying to deal with all the poop, I lowered the "poop interval" to 0.1... Since there is no proper description of what happens when increasing or lowering it one could imagine, based on "lay egg interval", setting it to 0.1 would more or less result in dinos/creatures laying no eggs... Well... There was poop... EVERYWHERE...

May i ask why the single player ark i play on ragnarok dint have alpha dino ?i dint touch the defaults setting other then breeding setting and char stat per lv setting

Menu transitions on means you have to confirm you want to move stuff from say an inventory to a dino/crafting station for those who didn't understand what he meant 😉

If I use the single player mode button, how does adjusting slider settings affect it? Does it compound on-top of the changes that the Single player option already makes, or does it just override them; potentially reducing the benefit of certain tweaks?

I have a little issue while disabling engrams, i want to play a primitive style of map, primitive plus being broken on a lot of maps its not really an option, i'm talking about creatures not spawning on some biomes, (Aberration and Crystal Isles works """well""" btw) Anyway my issue is that disabled engrams always reappears (and yes i got "specified engrams" turned on)

I have Ark Survival Evolved and I wanted to just download the base game . It does not allow me to choose anything because there is no option of DLCs so nothing I can untick and reduce the download. Right now it is downlaoding 39.3 GB but after that will it download the rest for 125.1GB. Will I be given a choice to stop after the 39.3 GB download. Everyone I asked says there is a dlc option that allows you to decide which part of the game you want to download, my copy on steam does not have it. I don't want all those other parts when I'm just starting out. I am hoping it will stop after that. I am going to try your settings but I was hoping someone else had the same problem.

Is there a way to turn off the host tether on ps4 in a non dedicated session? Would be nice to actually split off to farm resources, or better yet not get teleport tele-lagged when the host dies.... One thing it is good for though, we use it to teleport resources across the map. Host drops me and the crew anything hes got then bed teleport back to base, the tether teleports us and we keep everything and any mounts we're on
