I've been an avid deck builder in every card game I've touched over the years, and none have excited me quite like building in the MHA CCG. But dang, is it hard! I had no idea what I was doing when I first started out, and I still have a ton to learn! But for anyone else who may have been feeling like I was on day 1, here's my latest project! A comprehensive beginner's guide to putting together decks in this game! Going over different ratios, constructing attack packages, managing tech pieces, and how your character can affect them all, I cover every aspect that a day 1 or even day 30 deck builder might need to know to get started!

Levi! Great content as always. I would've added the whole pick one symbol that all cards have to share with the character- but.. I love that you choose a great starter deck and how to tweak it to make it very solid. Well done bro. 💪😁

Loved this video. I feel like my deck building skills in this game is okay but I can kind of use this to sharpen the skills more. I definitely follow these steps the best I can. Great video, Levi! As always, I look forward to the next one.

I think a lot of people, even a lil ways into their journey with this game, get caught up with some of the core concepts of making decks. This video is also meant for them to try and overcome those first few rough draft steps :)

So I've been playing for a while now and I'm super passionate about the game. I win locals pretty consistently and I'm looking to take my decks to the next level and it just seems like such a different ballgame

As I'm just getting into the game, and I was wondering if the art on the card has any indication on what character the card synergizes with? Like all those cards in the Eraserhead deck have him in it. Maybe it's just for theming of a starter deck, but is there a link between art and intended character?

Generally cards with a character on them share that character's symbols and support their playstyle heavily, but rarely does a card only have use in one character

Love your vids my man but quick question, the nullify card do you play that from hand on response? Then check? Like they enhance then I play it from my hand check and continue? And when an attacks enhance say it gains stun the stun hits as you enhance? Or how’s it different from when an attack starts with stun?

I am not him of course but I believe for Nullify you declare the response, put down the card, and then check it there. And when an attack gains a stun ability, it must be used as a separate enhance. When an attack starts with stun, you can automatically use it as an enhance. When you use Snack Time for example, when the attack gets that stun 1, that is an enhance, the stun must then be used as a separate one.

The gained keyword ability would only be added to the card. You may then use it during at any point during the enhance step as normal. This is the same for any ability that would be added to an attack outside of damage or speed.

@Uchiha using the stun would be it's own enhance.
