New to your channel. I used to live in SJ and never really got to experience the soil in the Bay Area. But I do recall the iceplant that was my entire backyard and how if I climbed around in it how it stained my pants. It was good ground cover for hillside but made it hard to climb through it. Of course I was young so using sidewalks and streets weren’t as appealing 😂- gotta use shortcuts and cut-throughs. I am now in a humid zone in the south and find I have the opposite soil as yours. But I still ❤ watching and learning about other zones and climates -just in case I ever move I want to be ready!

My friend down the street from me loves iceplant! I’m always looking for unique colors for her. Yeah I have the soil in the south is pretty tough! I’m sure you are growing some beautiful plants! So glad you are enjoying the videos! Happy Gardening 😊

I love lawns too. It’s a nice contrast to the flowers beds. Look into milorganite which is organic too for your lawn.

Great video. Installing the drip irrigation intimidates me for some reason. As Peggy said above, I would love to know if there is a guide somewhere. Awesome info on fertilizing, I too have sand for soil. I live on the east coast of Florida in zone 9B like you but we have the crazy high humidity. So glad I found your channel through KZfaq recommending it to me. Have a great day.

It was probably the hardest part figuring it all out, and I would love to share what I have learned. Happy gardening my friend 🥰
