i think that sucking air in from the back and bottom and blowing hot air out from the top should work better on Lian-Li O11. That way you wont even need the extra dust mesh

Hello! I’m going crazy trying to find out how to wire this radiator and this motherboard combination, can you walk me through how you’re going about this? Possibly what I might be doing wrong as well? Windows is not reading my radiator and I’m lost on what I should do at this point. Reference: - Nzxt z73 radiator - msi unify x570 motherboard

The wiring for the Z73 is kind of complicated. It needs USB from the motherboard (and its USB connector consumes a whole dual-USB header). It also needs SATA power from your power supply. The Z73 comes with fans and if you use them, it can power the fans. I didn’t use the supplied fans (plain black) because I like the Corsair LL120, so I left the Z73 fan wires tucked away. Wiring my 9 LL120 fans was definitely tedious and not shown in detail in the video. If you use the Z73 fans, Windows won’t see them directly; you have to control them through the NZXT CAM software. I powered all my fans from the motherboard headers, using splitters, so they do show up in the BIOS and any utility that looks at motherboard fans.

@@btpuppy2 I actually did this initially and was unable to get the connection for the Z73 to the motherboard. I’m also using Corsair LL120 fans, and they are powered as well. My pump is working and it’s cooling my CPU and the light is on, however I can’t change the graphics on my LED panel due to windows reading my radiator as “Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)”. I don’t see any options or any devices connected to my computer that says NZXT or anything like that, so I was wondering if you went through a particular step with the radiator or if it was just plug and play with this motherboard. Thanks! I really appreciate the help and feedback! If possible I can just message you in regards to this further if you need pictures to determine the problem.

@@LikeMyStats If this is a new build and you haven't installed much in the way of programs, you could try wiping the drive and reinstalling windows. I assume you have Win 10? The other thing is it could be a defective brain in the cooler - because when windows is asking for it's ID, it's not giving it. This could be why it isn't showing up in device manager under Universal Serial Bus Devices.

@@btpuppy2 I was able to fix it today! Had to flash the bios and update some drivers and things started working in order now.
