Thank you for this workout! I’m 59, obese, and have one spinal health issue and one auto-inflammatory health issue. I’m determined to strengthen my mind and body before my 60th birthday. I expect a weight release as well as better mental and emotional health. This workout was an awesome godsend from my daughter-in-love, a US Army officer. Okay, I'm not gonna lie. I thought "Chile, ain't no way I'm gonna sweat from this." Let me tell ya, my legs are burning, my back and arms and my core a little bit. This was good. I'm definitely going to include this in my workouts. Also, though it took a minute her comments rubbed off on me. I found myself saying, c'mon queen/king! quite a bit. Great job.

51 years old, trained/ran a half marathon in 2019, Feb. 2020 got a shin splint that moved into a stress fracture. 10 months later and I'm still in a lot of pain, not as debilitating as before, but painful 24/7. I was walking several miles a day still, so just stopped that to ease up on weight-baring exercises and found your videos. You keep me motivated, going during this recovery time, pandemical times (busy, full-time working, full-time single mama of 2 children)! Thank you!

I have been struggling with mental health so much during this period of isolation. Decided this week to start doing the things I know contribute to my mental health, one of which is exercise. I have a neuroma in one foot that gets horribly exacerbated by running and standing cardio, so your chair cardio videos are my saving grace! I just finished this one, and I feel GOOD!

My husband I have been doing your hurt foot- chair cardio workouts for 7-8 weeks since I broke my foot. Love the routines -- (I think you helped my foot heal in record time: 4 weeks!) But the addition of Patrick is especially awesome. He's an extra HOT HUNK OF MOTIVATION. :) Adore you both.

I have an ankle injury and kind of reluctantly tried this workout- and this was way harder than walking on the treadmill! I couldn't do all of it but am excited to keep trying. So appreciate the positivity : )

I just finished my first chair workout. I sit at my desk for 10-12 hours a day and I’m overweight and this made it so easy to get a workout in from my desk. Yay!!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😃😃😃

I feel for you Rebecca! I had heel spur surgery and recover was LONG. I do want to share how much Patrick helped me in my recovery - after working with Patrick and team, I was able to wear heels (short ones). Granted, I only wore them once to a single occasion - but I wore them! Hadn't been able to wear cute shoes for 7 years! Fix Body is my JAM for sure!! However - I'm in no hurry to wear heels again - that's what got me in the shape I was in.. LOL Happy healing to you!

I started doing Caroline’s chair cardio during Covid. I have atrophied back muscles that do not support my spine. I can do the chair cardio to get my heart rate up and keep body parts moving. I always feel better after a workout. These days I do them when I can’t make it to my health club. . This holiday I missed two days and knew I had to come here to get the body moving to feel better.

I honestly am in love with these workouts. My heel has been in a lot of pain due to plantar fasciitis, then injuring it again while it was healing, and it really put a stop to the health choices I just recently decided to make: working out. I had made a lot of progress and was so disappointed that even my other low impact exercises were too much. I looked at some other videos before settling in here and I'm so happy I found this channel! My goals can continue!

I know your comment is quite old but I suffered from that for YEARS. I tried everything. Every gimmick, taping, you name it. The ONLY thing that got rid of it was doing the exercises. Especially ones using the wall. I had given up and I HAD to live with it, I worked on my feet for 8-9 hours a day. Id get home and going to the bathroom was agony let alone having any kind of a life. Its been gone for about 4 years now and anytime I feel like its coming back I do the exercises and its gone. I didnt even spend a great deal of time doing them. I couple minutes a day made a huge difference. Good luck to you!!!

@@amywamala it really did. Tbh I don't remember exactly what this video shows but stretching the foot up towards my head was a huge help. Mine was so bad I would cry. I taped them every single day. Bought arch supports, and it helped a bit. But not nearly enough. I was seriously considering cortisone shots in my feet even tho my doctor said they are horribly painful. I bought a roller for my feet...you name it. Then I looked at exercise. What helped me were 3 different ones. Standing a few feet away from a wall and putting one foot behind me and leaning into the wall. The more I stretched my calf and foot out the better. This was the BIGGEST help of all, and the bonus was I could do it at work, or anywhere. I did it whenever I had the chance. There were also 2 others that helped. While sitting, pulling my toes back and stretching the foot muscle, and the other was, standing with no shoes, socks work well, and scrunching my toes back...pretend your standing on a towel and your trying to pull the towel towards your foot with your toes...or you can even do it with a towel. But the first one was the BEST! I truly was shocked that it worked. I had tried other things that didn't. I was sure this was forever and the thought of that was....awful to say the least. I will always be grateful this worked. From what I've read it may not work for everyone,but keep trying new things. With this I noticed a difference quite quickly. But keep looking! There are options! And I truly think arch supports is very important even if you find relief. That's how it starts. I never go without it now.

I'm so happy I found your channel. I have gained almost 30 lbs since February. Our building has been locked down and no one has been able to come in. If course we can go out but because of the virus I don't go out often. I am already overweight so the 30 extra pounds really weigh laid me. I'm having serious mobility issues even with my Walker. Saturday I decided to do something and stop feeling sorry for myself. I started exercising by using the chair and eating properly instead of ordering in. I was looking for a chair exercise that really got my heart pumping and was different than those that I have been doing. I found you and I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Thanks so match for sharing. I appreciate it very much.

I have progressive MS and, although I spend 30 mins/day on physio exercises, I was aware that I was missing a cardio workout. Then I discovered your KZfaq video for a beginners chair cardio workout. It took me took five days to work up to completion of the whole video and what a difference it has made. It is the perfect compliment to my daily activity regime and I feel so much more energised. Fatigue can be a real problem for those that live with MS, so a massive Thank You.

Omg that was hilarious. I felt for Patrick it being his first time doing chair cardio. We've all been there starting a new workout. This was great as I wasn't feeling well and wanted something shorter then what I normally do. :)

Thank you! I am just starting and have a long way to go! I have CKD and the doctors recommend starting in the chair exercises. I was nervous about being able to do even 15 minutes, as they recommend 30 minutes a day. I will do the other 15 minutes this evening before bed. I believe it will help me rest better! Thank you sooo much truly~

You're awesome! I've had health problems recently, and I've been in and out of the hospital within the last 3 month's, without a diagnoses. I needed this low impact because I'm unable to do more. Thank you. My right hip flexor area has been hurting for a few days so that's how I stumbled across this video. Need to modify workout until no pain. Thanks for those hip flexor stretches!

OMGoodness! This is ABSOLUTELY what I've been looking for. Yoga just isn't me. As far as the cardio aspect....just the right amount of "tough" for someone just starting out. I appreciate you and the doc being so upbeat and positive! I felt as if I was the only one in the room that you were talking to. I appreciate that personal feeling! I've set a timer for 10:00am every day to get on and do this workout. I actually feel really good and proud of myself.

Great workout! 4 days post op partial knee replacement. Could do most of this with little or no pain. Got tired of sitting in a chair or lying down to exercise. Can only walk so much on this leg. It was what I needed. Thank you!

easy to follow. surprisngly challenging (that's a good thing). im looking forward ot keeping this up and getting better at it.

I found you guys video today and attempted, it was alittle hard at first but i did it at my own pace... it really helped since i have knee problems..love it I will try to do this at least 3 times a week

Dear Caroline, sending you lots of love from India. I’ve had a knee injury and have been recovering from it since 2 weeks. Your both chair cardio really motivated me. Thank you so much for these beginning workouts! I’m a Covid Longhauler of 25 months. Before Covid I was doing serious HIIT workouts and other cardio workouts plus Pilates. Since I got Covid exercising has been a hit or miss experience depending on how strong my symptoms are each day. Your videos are perfect for all but the worst days, especially because they’re seated. (Post Covid Syndrome often affects a person’s balance among the other myriad other bodily functions.) I have recommended your videos to the members of my Longhauler support group, and several members have commented on how nice it is to be able to exercise while seated and at one’s own pace. With the terrible heat that we’re currently experiencing it’s wonderful to be able to still exercise and not worry about the fact that it’s 85 degrees in the early morning and at twilight when most folks go for walks around here. Thanks again.
