Master Batter is not found in ship. its in the first POI along the backtrail of your crash path. follow the crates to it.

@@speccyboi5362 Follow the trail your ship made while crashing and pick up the loot boxes..youll shortly come to a small building the battery is on the second level i think right mouse button to pick things up. POI = Point of Interest

Hey, another good tip from early beginners is to try to make small farm areas with 3x3 plots (for tomatoes, red beets and carrots crops) scattered around at least 256 blocks away from each other so you avoid being attacked at the beginning. I'm doing this and didn't receive any "unauthorized farming" message yet.

That “little cute guy” you found underwater, can be brought onto land, eats cardboard, and once it eats enough produces one of the ingredients needed to craft EXPLOSIVES!!!!!!!!

Top Tip - Don't use water chests, they have 5 slots when a normal large chest has 30 slots and works with vacuum pumps/canons. Edit - And they don't empty when you pick them up :D

A tip I've seen is to die in a place you want to get back to, then when you go back just leave one useless item in the dropbag and the icon for it will show from very far off. You just have to remember a general direction from your base if you have a lot of these "free beacons". Or, you can craft beacons now if you want and they'll show up in your Logbook.

You can also use chests instead of water containers with the vacuum pump, In fact I would recommend using chests as it's more efficient with the craftbot

Good stuff. Just to add a few little things: Do not put down any soil unless you are sure you want to build there. You can’t pick it back up and food won’t grow unless you’re close. Once you find a good spot to settle for a bit, you can just slap down anything in your inventory anywhere, so you don’t have to worry about putting together a chest immediately. I just put up a wood wall and made little shelves out of blocks. If your car disappeared, it may have rolled down a hill. Pull out your connector tool. It will make the car a little easier to find because the connection points will appear when you’re sort of close. That’s all I’ve figured out so far. Anyone else have little tips? Keep up the awesome videos, Z.😁 Oh yeah. Hit hay piles. Sometimes stuff under them.

A Person It helps, but it’s not required. I’ve only found more in those green crates, but supposedly the trader guy has some for sale.

As of THIS writing (Aug 2023) you can now pick up soil and you don't have to be near the plots for stuff to grow. But do pay attention to "Unauthorized Farming" messages because that timer in red is not crop growth time.... it's the time you have before your farm is raided by bots.

So things i noticed: 1. Robots are gonna swarm your farm as soon as the unautorized farm cuntdown runs out. But they gonna attack yer farm in anyway 2. The "rigs" or destroyed buildings call them what you want, usualy have a legendary (orange) top of it. 3. Bots attack wocs A LOT

The height doesn't really matter, they will destroy whatever is in their way to get to the cows or the unauthorised plants, they are scared of saw blades which you get later.

I don’t know if you know this, but the glow slugs or whatever they are called, if you feed them cardboard (made from wood) they produce glow stuff. It can be used to make some useful stuff like glow sticks.

M8, I have a couple things you need to know, I may be a bit late but you should know this. Yes you may need a spud gun to take the red bots “Farm Bots” but the rewards are extremely VITAL you need the microchip looking thing to enter a ware house ware houses have various food items as well as other red jerks who shoot explosive tape at you, but like I said you need the spud gun, I hope I could be of service and good luck too you on your journeys(also I’m just giving you a tip for the intermediate class after beginner)

If you don't have switches or pumps you can put the craft bot on your car then put it on the lift and run down to the water without a run penalty. Then buy 4 buckets and put the water into the craft bot it will make packaged water and give you the bucket back. Also put a chest on the water container and you'll get hundreds of water

In the actual release (not beta)... 1. Soil from the ground CAN be picked back up in the official update. It appears as bags of soil while in inventory. 2. Master battery isn’t found in the ship, it’s found in a fort down the path (upper floors). You then bring back the battery and place it in the ship where it goes to power on the crafter.

I didn't watch your gameplay (or any about this survival, I often watch some and then already know what to do, which prevents me from having the "oh, that's how it works" part, and I wanted to give it a try for the survival, as I played in creative years ago), do you know where I can find ember ? I found some at the beginning, but I didn't encounter it anymore. Is it just that I didn't went far enough in my exploration ?

Does anyone know how to quickly transfer items? Is there is a faster way to move items from chests and inventory? Instead of having to drag and drop everything, such as when you die.

Hold SHIFT+LeftMouse button to move whole stacks. Use Right Mouse Button to move 1 item from stack; use middle mouse button to move half a stack. These also work to move something to/from your inventory to hotkeys.

You need to craft the CraftBot thats up the ramps in the Mechanical Shop - as was suggested in this video, it's one of the FIRST things you want to craft. It opens a huge amount of craftable items you need to progress.

Andrew Brouwer A piston car would be more useful for looting stuff. You won’t have to go back to make gas since you don’t need any. For long trips where you might not find gasoline.

It feels like the waves are getting bigger and more hay bots are getting mixed in. I think the first few waves i encountered were 3 "scout bots", after about 10h in my base gets attacked by 2-3 scouts and 3-4 hay bots.

I searched for one and a half hour and then found it in a biome with a forest of yellow fall trees and there are small bushes u cant find in other biomes. Its a small green plant with a white ball on top that u can harvest to get cotton When you go drive back to your base mark the way to the cotton with blocks at the intersections

The soil doesnt have to be in the sunlight. It just has to be on the ground

Yes best place to make your farms is on an island. Then you just make your daily runs out to collect your crops and kill your bots. Ive never seen any swimming bots but if the island u pick is very large they may spawn on it so I'd pick a smaller island to farm on

He forgot the most important tip for a new player. Throw water on robots... It'll stun them and let you beat them without having to worry as much.

A friend and me played coop for about 10 hours the last few days. Apart from some minor player location desync and crashes when he connects while my save is still loading it is very good. Joining a friend over Steam is very easy.

piano master I’d suspect he needed to learn and discover things on his own to suggest tips and tricks. Otherwise he wouldn’t know what to make a video on. (Like playing the piano. I wouldn’t suggest a tips and tricks video on your first day, but perhaps after 1 week, you may have learned some fun new things!)

I made a world and the roads and spot where the mechanic station is, was placed differently. so i assume the world is slightly random.

Cotton grows on plants - I find them mostly in the "Autumn" biome (lots of trees with autumn-color leaves).

i think you can but it will need lots of fuel, unless you make it piston powered then that would work

Yes technically but to begin with the engines are not good enough to move ur base but once u upgrade ur engines and get multiple ones you can make a big platform to put all ur stuff on.

You can get ember from trees that look like they are glowing with fire. There are some near the ship where you started. Chop them down like normal trees with your sledgehammer.

A landing you can walk away from is a successful 1! They also remade it so you can Dig up the fertile soil. They should have a map. It's not an unexplored world. Bots: Hello! Can I be your friend? Then stab you.
