I have a stud gun, I like this much better. I was concerned about the quality and durability but I've had it for 2 years and no issues. That's my experience anyway.

Very well explained on every single step to a mirror finished. I love painting. I had tried painting on my car bonnet but didn't get the clear mirror finished. What would you recommended for Astro Euro HE 1.3 gun setting for base and clear?
@GarageNoise
@GarageNoise 2 жыл бұрын
Here is a video that will help. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qLZzfqmEueCXfZs.html I use around 28 psi with that gun for clear. Around 20psi for base.

I’m just getting back into the world of home auto painting. You make some nice videos for novice painters like me. My question I have is would putting my inline filter and regulator on the end of my dedicated spray hose with the quick disconnect between them and gun cause any problems?

Always love your stuff. So I’m having to purchase a lot of gear. Can you tell me a air compressor size that works where I’m not breaking the bank? Seems like the compressor, dryer, etc will run majority of cost for setup. Guidance?
@GarageNoise
@GarageNoise 2 жыл бұрын
So, I use an ingersoll rand. Cost about 1,200 with an extended warranty. I'm very happy with it. I puchased it at tractor supply it was the largest they sold. You want it to produce at least 15 cfm's

Great video once again ☺️ You have mentioned about clean air without moisture, i got an old air compressor with only a moisture filter trap right before gun, is it ok or do i need something extra?

Is it possible to use an electrical spray gun rather than a compressor? This would be for family cars only. I accidentally spilled some lacquer paint on my door panel when using a Duracote paint pen that was open when I walked out of the garage without noticing it until a few days later. Can I use lacquer thinner to remove it or should I sand and paint? It's a 2008 Honda Royal Blue Pearl. The paint stick doesn't match. This is a great video thank you for making it.
@GarageNoise
@GarageNoise 5 ай бұрын
You can use thinner to remove it or possibly rubbing alcohol

With the Wet bed I thought you only spray it on the blend panels not the primered panels? And also great video!
@GarageNoise

Put it over all the panels. It help over the areas that are repaired and primed by filling any minor scratches that may have been missed, so the metallics lay correctly.

Im just starting out and money is tight . What would be the big difference from the dent puller vs the stun gun ?
@GarageNoise
@GarageNoise 2 жыл бұрын
Stud gun will work good, if you get a good one like a stinger. Those are like 350 or 400 last time I looked . I have a harbor freight stud gun cheaper but it doesn't work near as well. It didn't weld the studs on very well and it became frustrating ! To answer your question speed is the main difference the g90e is much quicker and you can really fine tune dent removal quickly. I've had a good experience with the one I puchased on Amazon but remember it is made in China . Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!

@@GarageNoise Thank you very much ! You definitely helped me pick my poison ! Going with the one you have , since the one i was looking at wasn’t the stinger !
