Thanks for this vid! I've always wanted to get into FM but always found it daunting to look at. This has made things a lot clearer for me now to go in and try it! Thanks for the heads up on the the other comments too.. currently have it through game pass but will get it on epic too just in case it gets taken off game pass in the future.

Pretty new to the newer versions of FM. Is it normal to be getting like 20-30 shots in the pre season friendlies? Opponents have been getting like 5-10 shots in. Playing as Bayer Leverkusen and not played anyone decent so far.

I preferred the old games when wingers and fullbacks crossed the ball into the box rather than cutting it back to the halfway line from the byline. I also vaguely remember when strikers scored one on ones. Those were fun. I've had half my team complaining that I wasn't being fair to a player by not offering him a new contract, despite the fact he had been offered a new contract and was considering it. The there was my team unhappy with me about being mid table, despite the fact we'd played half as many games as the rest of the league due to Europe, and we'd won every game This game is hopeless. Too many stupid bugs.

There is a striker soft cap on about 20 goals per striker in the premier league excluding penalties. When a striker hits the soft cap he will simply stop scoring, that´s been my experience with 20 seasons in the PL. Calling it a "soft" cap because if you made your own team of only superstars I am sure they could break that cap given enough chances in front of goal. As it currently stands I am ranked 1 in the world with Gateshead and have only elite players, currently have 6 elite strikers and they all get exactly around 20 goals and just stop scoring after that, only the penalty taker exceeds that tally. It seems to apply to the AI as well, the only ones I have seen exceeding the 20 goal cap are penalty takers.

how do you make a half-time substitution ? The last fm that i was playing before i bought fm 2020 was fm 2015

hello, i need help, after i installed this game and took over my team, when i click on a player right click, i dont get full options like make a transfer offer etc? does anyone know why? also when i took over my national team, i press right click and i dont have full option menu, i cant even add or remove player from my national team, so wtf? anyone knows what i did wrong?

What does the player database mean? Because no matter what you choose it seems to have all leagues and players in the game anyway so I want to know what stuff to click you know?

It doesn't seem all that different to FM 2011 which is the last version I have played. I hope they've not gone too far down the rabbit hole with press conferences, and made every single little bit of tactics overly detailed. By which I mean you have to specify how often a defender tackles and moves into a certain part of the pitch, whether a winger wears pink or blue boots and runs like a crab.........

Just wish there are mobile games for this kind of football manager.. Where we act like in the real life seasons and not like the pes club manager ones... We just follow each years like what real life manager, transfer and youth etc.

Good video, however it doesn't show how to give a team talk to a substitute- Every football manager game before this one allows you do give a prep/team talk, but this game doesnt. Apparently there is a bug with this, that many people have and as far as Im aware you cant fix it! Makes the game a bit unrealistic as every manager always gives a few words of wisdom to oncoming subs!

Guys i just started playing and i've been assigned as a U19 Spain manager, how do i get to assign responsibilities about scouting etc? I can't complete my team because i dont have any players in the national pool but few. If somebody help pls! ?????

Stopped playing this game years ago, FM17 was last version bought, but team instructions were always ignored so I refused to buy any more. Gave it another go due to Covid19 and locked in the house but still get annoyed. Play ball into box means don't shoot, shoot on site means will only shoot from 40 yards plus, short passing means long balls, run at defence means pass as soon as a defender gets close and those are just some of the many many flaws. Awful game

Can you help me? I have a bug of all the faces of the Man utd, that I can't see the real faces of players. I downloaded face megapack 2020, but they don't appear me in game without sense. The only one face unlocked is IGHALO while the others don't exist.
