Agree .100% . Again this vid was meant for Beginners , so I was trying to keep things very simple . Most O gauge layouts that a beginner comes in contact with , for the most part are 3 rail ( Model train shows etc ) . So that is why I just kept it as 3 rail , to not overly complicate things for beginners ., but I definitely agree with you on that . Thanks Regards,

@@anthonyshobbycorner Ah! I understand. A lot of legacy (and modern) Lionel and American Flyer stuff at train shows. I am the type who cannot get over the third rail in the middle of the track. Unless you are modeling the London Underground no third rail in the middle of the track!😉 That said I do look at some three rail model channels (I model in HO and N). Great looking!

@@arrow1414 I'm very much like you . I also cannot get over the 3rd rail in the center. It just blows my mind that O scale model manufactures and modelers alike will put a lot of effort into fine details on their O scale layout and locomotives to try to keep things prototypical as possible , yet they don't seem to think that the 3rd rail totally contradicts that effort. I guess each to their own. Like you , I don't discriminate against 3 rail systems, I very much enjoy watching them at train shows and on youtube etc . Just that I personally prefer 2 rail any day .
