I binged watch ur boat making videos since I'm a beginner at building and it helped a lot. The boat kit and tool kit I ordered are on the way and I'm very excited to try this. Ppl say that this is a great mind-clearing activity and just watching your videos helped me clear my mind, hopefully I feel the same while building one 😊

Hi Jim- I see you haven't posted anything on this build for a year now, so I hope that doesn't mean you're not doing well... of course I'd love to see a little more on this build. I've thought about using this kit as a starting point and scratch building the details, so watching your process is helpful. But I can understand that making videos is a pain in the butt... I've thought about doing some myself, but never can seem to get that excited about all the additional work that it takes. So thanks for all the work you've done so far, stay well!

Howdy Jim, I really appreciated this series very much. I bought one of these models because I figured it was a cheap way to get into the hobby. Did you complete this model, and if so any more videos for it? I learned a ton watching your craftsmanship. Thank you for your time 🙏😊

hope youre feeling well jim (said your health isnt the best in a previous comment) its ok if it takes a while for you to post videos, quality content doent happen quickly, really appreciate the patience and effort youve put in to make these videos. I wouldnt have had a clue where to start without them. Part of me is thinking id like to build the mary celeste, but then another part of me is thinking maybe thats not a good idea, might bring bad luck......lol...on that topic, Do you believe the crew disembarking to the lifeboat and the line snapping theory? would love your opinion

Hi Mr Stein, when you got the kit for the Halcon, did you get an instruction sheet for culling the sails? I am working on this ship kit also and do not have a sheet for cutting out the sails from the cloth. I you do have this can you please send me a copy of this page with the sails and their measurement so I can cut and install the sails. Thanks David

I didn't get that information, the instructions are very poor. No rigging diagram either.

I watched video by @BoilerDan1 and he had a great suggestion of running CA along the edges after you've marked them out on the canvas, to keep the canvas from Fraying.
