@@SpinningShadowsFiberArts same here 🤣. Your way makes me wanna try again. I learned about nålbinding during a scandinaviën market with a Viking theme here in the Netherlands. The guy that sold needles made by him had some very cute baby socks/boots to show. Making the sole of the foot you have to increase at the toe. But I cannot seem to see which stitches I should use in the corners
@SpinningShadowsFiberArts

@@cynthiamolenaar770 I'm just starting to learn how to increase in a way that I like (it creates an easily seen/decorative stitch). I'm planning on doing a video on it here soon! The general way to increase is just to go through the stitch again (though you have to pay attention when you come around again as the second stitch can hide under the first one)

That multi-colored needle is made of a product called spectraply. It's basically a plywood made of dyed layers of wood. They do make a pretty needle.

Are you going around and around the 1st chain in a circle instead of working back and forth? Im a crocheter so im a little confused
@SpinningShadowsFiberArts
@SpinningShadowsFiberArts Жыл бұрын
Yes. I'm using the chain as the start of a round. As a crocheter, you can certainly use crochet to do a round base and then nalbind from there (I primarily knit, so a simple chain is about as complex of crochet as I get right now.), the goal is to have loops to start your nalbinding with. I hope that helps!
