- Begleri Basics -
Begleri (Greek: μπεγλέρι) is a small skill toy consisting of one or more beads at either end of a short string. The toy can be flipped and twirled around the fingers to perform tricks. Begleri originated in Greece, and originally derived from the Greek rosary or komboloi, which serve the function of worry beads, and are often flipped around to pass the time or keep the hands busy. While komboloi have beads forming a closed circle, begleri beads are threaded on an open strand, usually in a symmetrical formation, with equal weighting at either end. Begleri come in many forms, consisting of semi-precious stone or metal beads.
Historically, begleri was associated with the Greek mangas subculture, and the rebetiko style of music, popular from the 1960s onwards. In recent years, begleri has grown in popularity outside of Greece, as a skill toy and everyday carry item. This has led to a proliferation of begleri designs and styles, using all manner of modern materials. - www.aroundsquare.com/begleri/

This a really old "toy" and it started from Greece . Normally men used it to be badass in the early of 1990 but then people started using it to stop smoking. A begleri starts from 1.5 euro and it can cost more than 2000 euro. It depends on the stone you will put on it. Thanks for your time! Greetings from Greece! Nice skills guys 🤟

But we've considered starting to upload them here again, just a little nervous not sure how people will react if we do. But it would be nice to upload to this channel more consistently. What do you think? Do you think people would like BTS's back on this channel or should we keep them on the second channel?

ADDICTED ARTIST begleri/kolomboi has been around for very long its just up till recently that ppl are making much more tricks with it by using tricks from other hobbies such as penspinning or butterfly knife to name a few OH AND U CAN MAKE UR OWN LMAO

Makenda but WHY is it quality titanium. WHY does my begleri need to be bulletproof. WHY can't it just be some steel, or, if it needs weight, a steel shell with a lead core. I don't know about you, but I'm not paying 65 dollars for these.

i know right! I get its titanium but i made one that works just fine with a strong shoelace, some scissors and 6 hex nuts. 1. Put 3 hex nuts on each side of shoelace, 2 Tie A not at both ends, cut off any excess fray 3 take left over string and tie them to the other side of the hex nuts Hope it helps someone!

As someone who's does a long of contact finger stuff, these guys are good. Looks like a lot of time has been put into getting the hang of these things. Very impressive how they can gauge how much string they have to work with, like at the end of the 1:09 shot, and I love how smooth and soft the guy's touches are from 0:49

I can definitely see this little gadget helping to strengthen ones fingers for playing a string instrument. You know a fiddle, guitar, bass, etc. Wouldn't hurt valve or rotor folks either. Heck, I might just pick up my euphonium again after all. Better yet, always admired those rock guitarists. I'm just seeing possibilities. Baseball pitchers, anything with a keyboard etc. Where can I find out how to get one or how to make it.

I literally created a near exact replica of this for approx. $2.50, yet they are selling them online for $25-$75. Any kindergartener can attach a weight to paracord. Yet these geniuses (not sarcasm) have managed to sell it and make loads of money. Smart but honestly just attach any nut, skateboard bearings or group of washers and tie a few knots and you're off
