Very informative video, thanks. I found a good deal on an Mten4 without a battery and I will build my own (I have built some big packs for escooter and ebike). I see the Mten4 BMS has 3 connections - positive, negative and signal. Is it just those 2 resistors (103 & 104) required to use 3rd party BMS and do they replace the signal wire?

KOHDiTEP added extra big capacitors for safety(2 pieces)...I have not seen this mod on the wheel..

I know this mod, but it is done for stock weak battery packs to reduce big voltage sag problems during hard riding. Since I have high current battery pack, I've decided to skip it. According to my experience, I ignored it for my MCM5, and I can ride agressively almost 40 km/h at less then 30% battery capacity without cutouts due to high current battery pack.
