Phew, Mten5 looking good damnit. I just got my falcon and I’m liking the ride as I specifically got it for my terrible road conditions which it eats up like a champ, I just wish it gave me 25% more range. But man I love small wheels so I may be obligated to switch out my mten4 and 16S for this iteration. Not preordering it though, I’ll just wait for it to be readily available given the wait time and potential MORE new wheels coming out 🥵 It’s disappointing to see how much people get mad ET Max wobbles but I myself am also a small dude @145lbs, I found even 60lb wheels (V12/T4) too heavy to enjoy. Glad you’re alright after the tumble. Unless Begode’s next beginner/mid-tier offering puts a Master-size rim onto a thin lightweight A2-adjacent body ~1400-1800wh (my ideal capacity for personal range requirements), the falcon is the absolute largest/heaviest wheel I’m keeping in my stable.

Makes sense that they came out with the mini before releasing the 5. Obviously not for the small ones but perfect for beer runs

Nice trip! Hay at 17:00 you need to learn to put hard-carves into stopping. To the point where the carve-action has more slowing action than the actual regen-breaking of the motor. Like a hockey skator stop sorta. I do compress the suspension on my stops. Learn it if you're on the road over 30 mph... all wheels will wobble on hard-break w/o that technique! PS: Great wife and life you got there... surely you are blessed and I pray you know or get to know Jesus!

Another enjoyable video. Surprised you are going back to the States next month after saying how great it is living in China in a previous video. Does the mten5 have the same motor as the Falcon. The 20% smaller wheel on the mten should translate to 20% more torque.

Epic video! Well done! The Mten5 looks like a winner. Does it have a more powerful motor? It looks a lot more comfortable than the Mten4. That thing hits your legs at a bad spot when mounting. The A2 is a lot more comfy. The mten5 looks like a combination between the A2 and mten4 in form factor. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Ryan! I’m torn between the Mten5 and the Falcon. I’ve been riding my friend’s V10 for a few months now, and just had my first fall due to clipping a fence lol If you don’t mind me asking, how much do you weigh? I was amazed you got the Mten5 to go 35! I hope you’re healing well. Keep up the great work 😄

I just don't get it. Who is begode targeting now with what was supposed to be their lightweight, small series ? the Mten3 was 11kg. You could put it in a backpack. 2 generations later, you have now a 19kg monster. I live in a 4th floor without elevator. I can't carry these things anymore, and there are no single, good performing small / lightweight models coming out anymore since the stupid addition of suspension (that does little difference for us commuters in big cities..). Regulations and enthusiast have ruined it for the common commuter.

Better than begode falcon?

They seem to be cool people. Also, was the ETMax in offroad mode? It looked heavy to accelerate and brake. I remember my EX30 when it was new and had no firmware updates yet, felt heavy and I crashed it 3rd day of owning it, somewhat similar to how you described your crash - wobbled then fell rearward. Felt lighter after race mode. Glad you're good.

An EUC review vlog mentioned a P50B battery as being 3X more powerful than the 50s for the same size and/or weight. Could you find out from your friends at Begode if it has come up in their discussions?
