"E-Beh Kiya-Ekooneh", her No. 1 hit song, earned her the enviable title of "Princess of Liberian folk songs". She was appropriately honored and crowned in an impressive ceremony, the following year in Monrovia, the capital city of Liberia, Africa's oldest republic.
