BAFTA Los Angeles proudly presents Behind Closed Doors with Sir Ian McKellen. Ian sat down with us on Monday, November 16h, 2015 at the Charlie Chaplin Theatre at Raleigh Studios for a discussion about his upbringing, his early career and his gradual rise to become a towering great of stage and screen.

I knew as American we pronounce "school" correctly and the general English people don't until I know because sir Ian McKellan pronounces it the same way. Just as Shakespeare intended.

24:59 Fun fact: Because of Mission Impossible 2, the original Wolverine actor couldn't make it to the X-Men shoot. So they had to recast. Thus, strangely, Tom Cruise is indirectly responsible for introducing us to Hugh Jackman.

He is a actor a man who learns lines and repeats them under instruction from a director, and because of the fact he is good at it he becomes famous, my grandfather fought in two world wars he never sought recognition for what he did he died from lung disease from the mining job he returned to a few months after he retired at 67, but because a homosexual tells the truth he is the hero, my grandfather goes unnoticed.

@Here Here I stated he is a homosexual because he is, he makes no effort to conceal his sexual preference, there was no freedom to be true he has not just come out of the closet, every one knows he is gay, i made my remark because i was thinking of my Grandfather and how unfairly life had treated him compared to the actor and how the media thrusts some people in to the lime light while others are contained in the shadows, i would be foolish if i thought life was fair it certainly is not but it would be nice if now and then merit was distributed evenly.
