I really have to agree with you. I loved seeing the scene with Melissa’s family and her cousin’s wedding. Maybe I’m boring but I just loved seeing a happy, wholesome family moment for once. And I love how her family has really embraced Joe. It’s a nice change from all the hate, lies and drama.

I am NOT saying he is the perfect business man bla bla bla but I honestly believe he wanted Threasa to have the man of her dreams and she knew that her first husband was not good to her and it hurt him. I really believe Joe wants the best for everyone in his family. Even Dolores , he wants to see her set up. I always get touched when he talks about family and I NEVER DO when Teresa does. She wants to control and manipulate her family and friends but Joe really seems to be a open hearted guy (not without fault but)

Can I just add if Melissa thinks that gia is still such a child, then her and Joe should have immediately told John fuda not to mention gia's name. And the fact that Melissa and Joe were okay with the analogy to begin with when it came out of Jackie's mouth, really says what kind of aunt and uncle they actually are because if Jen Aiden had made that analogy about Antonio and Teresa had been okay with it, they would have called for Theresa not only to be fired but crucified from the highest hill. But the fact that Melissa didn't even reach out to miliana after she had had her car accident says a lot

Gia has been a cast member for years and she gets paid so if other people want to talk about her, that’s their right. And Teresa has always made darn sure Gia is in the middle of all the drama. Melissa in the other hand, has protected her daughter Antonia from any involvement and it’s clear she doesn’t think Gia should have ever been involved. Having said that, I do remember Melissa telling Jackie that she shouldn’t have used Gia’s name for that allegory, however Jackie never actually accused Gia of anything.

It wasn’t an analogy. He was simply pointing out that Teresa is talking about something that he did when he was a 17 year old. Much younger than Gia was when Jackie used her as an example of starting rumors. So, regardless of whether he is guilty and Gia is not, Teresa trying to make an issue of something he did as a minor and using that to accuse him of being the biggest drug dealer is ridiculous.

I think you saw joes relationship with Melissa’s family at the christening, I also think that because they’re not scared of Teresa that they were blocked from filming as much. Melissa doesn't want Gia to have a paycheck on the show. Melissa was the same age as Gia when she got married. She should be supportive of Gia being a co-worker and getting paid, so she can afford Law School or whatever future endeavors. I think Melissa is worried, because viewers won't believe Teresa, but they would absolutely believe what Gia says about Melissa and Joe.

Just a small point … if you are VOLUNTEERING for a charity by definition payment for services rendered should not be expected. Joe and Teresa discussed it off camera so if it wasn’t for Jennifer none of us would know about it because as you say, producers rejected Laura and her lies. Jennifer is just as delusional as Teresa if she thought she was going to take Margaret down with such a ridiculous storyline.

@@mariab7453 I guess they wanted the source of the rumor out there. Jennifer did apologize to Danielle a couple of episodes ago about it. It’s wrong to use Danielle I agree. It’s not a lie. Margaret’s husband actually outed Marg last season. Go back and look at that scene the boys got together. Margaret is protected by production. That’s why Laura wasn’t allowed to come on.

@@sophienicolaou3308 I think you are referring to Evan Goldschneider’s cheating rumors when Margaret’s husband Joe said he had already heard that rumor. That was a different season. I don’t doubt rumors go around but Laura clearly said on the phone that Margaret didn’t see anything. Someone told Margaret that someone they both knew had seen Melissa in the back of a car. It’s like a game of telephone, however, we never learned about this rumor from Margaret. We heard it from Laura, Jen and Teresa who HATE Margaret and who freely admit want to “take her down”. They chose to bring it to OUR lives with zero evidence, no video or pictures so for all we know they just made the whole thing up for a storyline. What I do know is that for all effect and purposes, THEY are the source of the rumor.

I don’t think Jen insinuated she was stealing from the charity. I think she she stated she was sloppy about how she organized it and was tacky in regards to paying herself a fee and being rude to the hair stylist. That’s far from stealing. It’s just tacky. That’s not turning anyone into a monster. Also Gia spoke for 5 seconds. These ladies infuriated me when they said she can’t talk to mention Johns name at all. You may not speak 🗣️ Lame. I hate when they police speech. The entire domineering thing is what infuriates me. The Fudas, Marge, Gorgas, talk to people like the are servants it’s completely inappropriate. It’s disgusting 🤢 If I have grown relatives, in my extended family I have never acted like Melissa I respect people as they grow up. I respect my college students as young adults. These things are just excuses for bad behavior.

The Manzo kids were all in their 20s when we first met them. Gia has been in the middle of this mess since she was very young. We watched her grow in front of our eyes and it is weird af to see her getting involved in the adults’ business as if she was another housewife. It is completely unnecessary. I don’t blame her though, I blame her parents and producers who never protected Gia and her sisters from all the TV and family drama.

Thank you Kempire for not being a "paid" henchman like so many others (cough cough: All About The Truth: ironic, no?). And so many others. You are spot on as always. Almost makes watching this show worth it, but not quite. It's ugly and toxic and what has gone on behind the scenes is gross. Thank you again.
