Faltermeyers is the ONLY version that matters. I played the original 12" vinyl 3 times today (well yesterday the 3rd July) to celebrate 'Axel F Day' This was pure cringe. The minute that silly tart mentioned how 'diverse' these classical musicians were I felt the red mist a rising.... Grrr.... Axel F is Electro Street Music from the Breakdance era of the early-mid 1980's and has nothing to do with a bunch of pretentious woke ponces and their crappy cellos. Grrr.... With a 1984 attitude. 🖕

The amazing HAROLD FALTERMEYER did an iconic score all by himself with a synthesizer. He created one of the most memorable themes in film history. And his score for the second film is also great.
@mugabesunny

Dissapointed Harold Faltermeyer wasn't brought back. Harold did both parts 1 & 2 entirely by himself with Keith Forsey, no orchestra. He also used far better synthesizer sounds. I'm surprised he wasn't even consulted. The score by Balfe is still good however and the tone was good, but i believe Faltermeyer should have at least been part of this film, he made this film series a worldwide hit just as much as Eddie Murphy's acting.

Well, only after disregarding the over saturated bullshit Netflix still believes they can brainwash us with. Anyway, back to the topic of this video. Am I the only one thinking the theme was a little overdone? Maybe tone it back a little. It’s like they had to play the theme each time Axel experienced a different emotion. At least that’s how I perceived it. Kinda like I need to be told how to feel emotionally to follow along. At least we got The Heat is on, and Shakedown. Aside from all of that I can only thank Seth Mcfarlen for ruining the Axel F theme for me. All my brain hears over the synth is Peter Griffen saying “And then another Heh heh, heh heh heh. 😅
