It may sound crazy, but I cried through so much of this video. I homeschooled our son from the first day of kindergarten to his high school graduation day in 2019. Oh! How I miss those years! Those precious days that flew by so fast. As I squeezed on so tightly, trying to cherish each moment for all it was worth, they slipped right through my hands. As I watched you show the new catalog. I felt a sad, deep down sense of loss that I am no longer scanning through them each summer as I would plan for the next school year starting each fall. It hurts to know it is no longer a part of our lives. But how I praise God that He allowed me to live and walk that precious journey with our dear son for 13 years. And I am so grateful to God that there are dedicated, devoted men and women of faith who are pouring their lives into making sure Biblically accurate curriculum continues to be produced to protect the minds of children and future generations. Never before has it been more important that those levels of sacrifice be made to preserve God's truth for coming generations. I sure didn't expect to have such a deeply moving reaction to this video, but God knew I needed it today. Thank you for posting and sharing your experience. It was beyond inspiring.

Was the conference on the actual campus? I had the privilege of visiting bju quite a few years ago but it’s absolutely beautiful. My 2 brothers went to the university & 1 of them is a minister in Lancaster PA. This was such a fun video. I’m so glad you were blessed & had such a fun time. Thank you for sharing.

My husband use to work for Fashion Cleaner when we first married in 1970. The girls would bring their clothes when they left to go home & come back to school they bring their clothes to the cleaner for they to let the hems up or down.

I live about 40 miles from Greenville near Jocassee Lake in Salem, SC. I’m about 20 miles from Shasta Phillips of Abiding Farmhouse!!

Tiffany, I am so happy you were able to make this trip and especially meet with Shasta! What you do is so important! It's been many years since I was a home school, Momma. I am an old Grandmother now. It would have meant the world to me to have people like you, Shasta, Toni, Falon, and so many others when I was raising my children. Keep up the good work!❤

This was so fun and interesting! Was this something that BJU offered to all homeschoolers or did they select some people to come and see this? And do they do this every year? So cool that they were willing to open up and show how everything is done and all the work that is put into it. So fun that you got to meet up with Shasta! And your outfits looked great! I believe this was the 5th or 6th year they have put on this event. To the best of my knowledge it is by invite only but I think they may do other tours during the year as well. It was so interesting!
