Um mein vergangenes Kritik Video im Vorfeld zu Sundarpatan für mich selbst gegen zu prüfen, habe ich mich nun endlich doch auf die neue DLC Map gewagt.
Ich hoffe das Ihr meine leichte Kritik an Call of the Wild Sundarpatan versteht und ich würde mich über einige Kommentare dazu freuen.
Kritikprüfung erfolgte an der neuen Waffe, der Grafik der Map, der grafischen Umsetzung der Spezies und der neuen Tiger Mechanik. Des Weiteren sind einige Bugs, Abstürze und Glitches negativ ins Auge gefallen.

Ich hab mir die Map bewußt noch nicht gekauft, da ich noch andere abarbeiten wollte. Bin nun aber sehr entsetzt wie wenig von den Ankündigungen zutrifft: Die Releasewoche ist noch nicht mal annähernd rum und schon gibt es Grinder, die an die 300 Tiger erlegt haben. Angekündigt wurde dass der Tiger sehr selten sei und nur wenige überhaupt zu sehen bekommen. Das liegt sicherlich auch am zweiten Problem: der Verschlimmbesserung der Spookdistanz beim Zeltreisen. Den Schneeleoparden sehen sogar viele, die erst ein paar Stunden auf der Map sind. Für mich ist das überhaupt nicht stimmig ggü dem, was von EW angekündigt wurde. Ich war anfangs sehr gespannt, da ja mal eine komplett andere Gattung als GO ankündigt wurde und meine Hoffnung war die, dass das Tiger und Schneeleopardenfeeling wieder etwas mehr Spannung bzw Seltenheitswert in das Spiel bringen würde.

Ich liebe alles an deinem Kommentar, danke dafür :) Das ist die perfekte Ergänzung zum Video und widerspiegelt meine aktuellen Erlebnisse In-Game perfekt. Das die Mechaniken nun noch heftiger genutzt werden können, halte ich ebenfalls für den größten Fehler, besonders für einen "Hunting Simulator".

A very fair assessment of the DLC! When it was first announced I paid close attention, but I purposefully stopped watching when they started releasing details, so that I could experience it for the first time for what it was. Now that I've played it, I've started checking around and you are right; my experience didn't feel the way that it had originally been described. My first harvest was a tiger, and I knew they were supposed to be rare, so I was super excited! Looking around KZfaq though, they don't seem to be as rare as they had predicted (in fairness, most KZfaqrs produce their best harvests [I plead guilty your honor! haha]). I also came across 2 snow leopards in my 3 hours up north as well. Personally, if they were as rare as diamonds, I think that'd be great!! If there was, perhaps only 1 tiger on the map (instead of 16 I believe it is?) that would feel more real. Maybe they'll change it in the future?

thanks for your comment. the short answer, no they probably won't change anything because the dlc has already served its purpose .... namely to bring in money. besides, they never changed anything that was engine relevant after the fact. "i actually" wanted to produce a third review video for sundarpatan. there i wanted to show the populations in comparison to other maps and statistically show the snow leopard, as well as the tiger in relation to the herd manegment and the other species in comparison to its respawn frequency. there we would have seen why they programmed in a mental error and why it was statistically impossible not to be able to reconcile such a small number of animals on the map with the herd manegment. however, i have now abandoned sundarpatan. new topics, other topics are also interesting. i hope that some players have learned from this and will no longer accept promises in the future. cheers my friend :)
