NuGod of War sucks. I don't want to babysit my wife's son all game. I didn't even play 2 hours. Walking talking simulators are all soyny comes out with.

@@sygos well said! Im agree with you 1000%! But besides you said, the first god of war was a revolution in everything: the music, the gameplay, the type of hero that kratos was, the kind of enemies you faced, etc. And the story was so unique and fits perfectly with the greek myths. It was an evolution of the genre by itself, and above of all it felt so epic! God of war 2018 did't have any of that!

@@BlizzagaBrand God of War 2018 had a brand name. That's all Sony milks anymore. Rachet and Clank is a brand name they own. Demon's Souls is a brand name they own and licensed a cheap remastering company to make their new flagship ps3 game remastered on ps5.

God of war fan here since 2005. Played them all. The newest God of war still blows them all out of proportion. It is the most beautifully made God of War till date. Shame many people are too narrow-minded and blinded by nostalgia to understand that.

God of War 4 is awesome though.

@@maniac4658 It has its own charm. It's supposed to be different. More matured and less about his torturing past and rage. It's all about accepting change. For those who say the gameplay is not as good as the original, have you even finished the game? We have varying currencies, RPG elements, runes, skill tree, a LOT of different combos and moves. Take some time to stop and appreciate the atmosphere, music and depth of the world. Also the game is much less linear than the others. For those thinking I'm blinded by the game's graphics, I'm almost a middle-aged adult that grew up with classic retro consoles and old gen 486dx/pentium 2 computers. I guess being blinded by nostalgia isn't such a bad thing. You do you though

this is untrue and not even comparable. the new god of war games story can only exist because of the old games story. you get a regretful and remorseful kratos trying to become a better person. you cant have that without the old young rage fuelled kratos. all games are truly masterpieces but i dont agree with saying any game is better than the other. preference is preference though i prefer the old games combatwise

the puzzles in gow were mediocre. Push blocks and then fight a wave of enemies. they just incorporated violence sometimes

@@ezzahhh I'm definitely in the minority on this one. Loved the old games, just couldn't get into this new version. Not sure about the breaking new ground, I felt like I've played that same game a dozen times before. To each his own I guess.

​@@DatJNP Ah you got it twisted man. It was a reference to Redlettermedia where they pretend to be so hyped for the 'new' disney star wars product and act like they are doing something revolutionary. I know sarcasm can be hard to detect online especially with rabid fanboys around. 100% agree with you, they turned the game into a generic 'cinematic' story where the gameplay is completely ruined in service of making it like a movie. I was hoping they would turn things around with Ragnarok but if anything it regressed. Trying to get to the end of it just to see how it raps up is honestly feeling like a chore. What a shame to see what the series became.

It was the most weak system, but yes, it have some miracles games on it like God of War, Ace Combat 5 Unsung War, Final Fantasy XII, Metal Gear Solid 3, Silent Hill 3 and others. Still, in terms of overall performance it have more limitations that the other two.

@@igodreamer7096 Yeah it was weak, but it's custom nature could do things no other console was able to. For example Silent Hill 2 on PS2 had way more fog filling the whole screen than the more powerful Xbox, because the PS2 had a way more faster pixel fill rate, and it looks way better from an atmospheric stand point imo.

It wasn't as powerful as the xbox, but a lot of developers were at fault as well as they didn't know how to optimise the game. Especially ubisoft with how they would put a largely inferior version of every tom clancy game they released back in the day in comparison to the xbox and pc versions
