Some say I have no idea the kind of hardship and burden the U.S. is going through? Think again, the company I'm working with laid off 6,000 people! Our friends & colleagues lost their job. Some of them were even working for this company more than I do.

Actually, the problem is, Haiti's POLITICIANS are richer than they ever were, pocketing a lot of the aid money meant to go to the impoverished citizens! That's why I feel that for international relief efforts in any nations, the best way to go is to use smaller relief groups (i.e. church missions groups) that work directly with the people in need and get food, medicine, etc., directly to them without having to get too involved with the local beaurocrats.
