I imagined that ending so many times in my head..

Personally, I was hoping the people who "died" would come back to life once the evil was banished - I know that would ruin the point of people dying, but it kept nagging at me, almost ruined the show for me, since people were talking about what happened on camera and then died. It just kind of broke any semblance of suspension of disbelief for me - I know it's not real, but I had a hard time being creeped out by any of it because of that one major detail. Suspension of disbelief is vital to a story being effective at whatever it's trying to do, and I couldn't really keep it. Everyone coming back would have fixed that…I'm hoping for a season 2 where Eva and Ollie have to solve puzzles to bring back the people who died while Joey, now being infected with evil, secretly works against them.
