I understand the interview but telling a Christian audience to watch this movie mmmm I don't think that's a good idea. Don't get me wrong but I did watch the ones before they were cool but this sourcery and magic theme is a little off for a Christian audience...

@@NovaLee908 pray for Efram Graham....the interviewer. These journalists make most of these decision on their own. Let's not be too judgemental of CBN. Maybe write cbn directly with concern but with godly love. Efram maybe somewhat clueless especially about jack black who has openly admitted to selling his soul for fame on talk shows. Sad

Because it is a good and funny movie for kids 😂. The shape-shifting is pretty cool just like star wars doesn't mean you have to believe in it though. Its not a sin to watch movies which teach you good morals and how to live life like a good person

Bro look at all the haters in the comments saying this movie is anti Christian. I'm a Christian myself and I adore the movie and the morals it teaches. Sure I do not believe in black magic but I also don't believe in Star wars does that make the move any less better if it isn't realistic ?

The problem isn't because these films aren't realistic, but because of the dark spiritual concepts included within them. Personally, I've let shows like (and including) this into my life and it became idolatry which only separated from having a relationship with Jesus. Just read 1 John Chapter 1. There are also many Bible verses on holiness, I searched a few on a website containing Bible verses on images and found "But just as he who called you is holy, so he holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."" 1 Peter 1:15-16 While we certainly aren't perfect, we need to repent especially when we know we have sinned, obey God's word, and grow in relationship with him. This really applies to me too. Just earlier this morning I basically "upvoted" DreamWorks as "good" pushing aside the involvement of demonic concepts within some of their films.

@IcyBrickzStudios Demonic concepts? Do you think Jesus would be ashamed of you for watching a movie that teaches people to be kind and good to each other? If you are Christian, you would not AGREE with the concept of magic being used in the film which btw is only 5 % of it. But it isn't sinful at all to watch something like this. Watching a movie that teaches you to believe in yourself , work hard to achieve your goal, move on from the past is absolutely fantastic and quite frankly I am tired of fellow Christians thinking learning this lessons is sinful in some way. I mean seriously the world is in a bad place right now we have starving children wars etc , you think God is more worried about some tiny magic in the films that we watch or how humanity is destroying this world day by day for its commercial benefits?

@@sig7838 Please read 1 John chapter 1. In terms of the "good morals" without Jesus, it doesn't matter. "All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a lead, and like the wind our sins sweep us away." - Isaiah 64:6. "Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." - John 3:3.

This is different for CBN, I think, but I adore Jack Black and Akwafina both. Jack seems like an intriguing person. I heard him sing the national anthem and it was fabulous. The Panda movies are fun.
