Very true! That was the one thing I noticed as well. Ciara didn't act like she was better or wanted special treatment, she really let Parris do her thing and was so eager to learn and perfect the routine. Really goes to show Ciara's character, so humble and gracious.

I think it's more the fact that she holds a lot of respect for Parris and trusts her vision. Ciara is an intelligent woman, she knows that Parris will improve her music through the choreography. Without the choreography, the song would definitely be lackluster. That is why Ciara is intelligent as she trusts others to elevate her profession, we know Ciara has always been a talented performer, but innovation is important and that's what Parris brings to the table. This performance, live, will be lit AF.

cameron cook Yes your very true! Parris innovative directing and choreography like you said made the video visually amazing! Anothet thing I might add Parris was so firm on direction and direct and honest with Ciara. She treated Ciara like one of her dancers. A great collaboration!!

Thank you Ciara for giving props and credit to the choreographer and showing the world who she is. Choreographers rarely get the respect or credit they deserve yet they are the ones creating all the iconic dances that the world loves and tries to learn.

KamSay....old school! The new kids don't realize how much fun MTV actually was back in tha' day! Actual VJs! Getting the latest news on your favorite performers or seeing a featurette on a concert of said performer. Eagerly waiting for the newest video of your favorite singer...then watching said video every hour. :-) The 90's were the best, because that's when Janet reigned supreme, Michael was still riding high on the charts, Metallica were becoming the Metal Kings, Paula Abdul came out of nowhere and became a fan fav, Pearl Jam made their debut, MC Hammer with his oversized pants....the list goes on!

Parris works people so hard - she has an eye for the smallest details and she won't rest until the wrinkles are ironed out. It takes a real dancer to do what she asks, and Cici delivered. Queens got talent.

Interesting to see all the comments about seeing Ciara mess up while learning..lol.. I have news for everyone...EVERYONE messes up when learning a brand new dance routine. That's just the way it goes. The fact that she learned it in two days is what shows that she is a pro. What makes this awesome is Ciara is letting us see the mistakes and hard work. People need to see how much hard work goes into choreography and dancing because most people think dance is way easier than it is. Kudos to you Ciara for this BTS! Thank you!
