Lyanna Kea has quickly become one of my favorite KZfaq channels. I am Puerto Rican/Native American, and I find it hilarious that my mom is just like Auntie. It doesn’t matter the race, as all ethnic mothers seem to be the same crazy, pushy, but unbelievably loving moms. I would love to know what Lyanna's mom thinks of the show. Maybe she can do a cameo sometime in a future episode!

As an Indonesian Chinese going to a British school, I love this show. The cultural conflicts, the Asian representations, etc. It’s extremely relatable, funny and beautiful.

Can't wait for season 2. She definitely deserves Netflix series ❤

甜酸苦辣 isn't just tastes and flavours ~ when we put those 4 words together, it's also used to describe the ups and downs, good and bad times in life (mostly bad, since only sweetness is pleasant and sourness, bitterness, spiciness are not). "I've been through 甜酸苦辣 with xx" is a common way to say that I've been through thick and thin, fought ice and fire, walked to hell and back together with someone. Very apt in the context of migrant families where food and language are the remaining links to one's culture and ancestry :')

I'm from south America and my family immigrated to the US when I was a kid, and there are things there that are part of being an immigrant that are very relatable and real, even if you are not Chinese. Lyanna, you have brought so much joy to so many people around the world, myself included. I started watching your shorts and was so enthralled with Auntie Kea and her daughter and other aunties. It was very refreshing and natural, unlike some of the Asian shows here in the US which just seem to be going through the motions. And you have a great collaborator in Sasha, who is a perfect fit with her character, which is a mix of both a little devilish and very heartwarming and caring. Watching you play all those different characters and situations, especially how sons and daughters are treated is just amazing. I have watched all of The Life of Kea and look forward to more. You definitely need to approach a streaming service like Netflix and pitch a show just like the Life of Kea. It would be a global hit. I've also gotten the ladies from where I get my hair, or what's left of it cut into Auntie Kea. They are all Malaysian-Chinese also so it's even better. I look forward to more of The Life of Kea. No. 450 - So Professional. I'm Impressed and find Lyanna's effort and vision for this show Epic. I visited Malaysia in 2002, crossed over the Causeway from Singapore and flew out of the Southernmost Airport to Penang, Stayed at an old colonial looking Hostel and spent a good week there exploring, before flying to KL for another few days. Enjoyed Malaysia thuroughly. Was very Impressed with the International Airport outside of KL, it has to be the most beautifully Landscaped Airport I've ever seen, absolutely Beautiful, Lush and Tropical.

I didn't realise a lot of chinese people had migrated to Malaysia, I knew about Singapore but not Malaysia. So the series has been an eye-opener. Also very enjoyable.
