A segment from the old Saturday morning television series "Name Your Adventure." In this segment, host Mario Lopez takes a lucky teenager backstage to the new Florida soundstages of seaQuest DSV's second season to meet Jonathan Brandis and help build an escape pod for the season premiere episode.

Rest in piece JB. He really was one of the most popular of 90s children actors. He was perfect in Sidekicks with Chuck Norris.

I actually got to meet the scuba diving instructor that instructed the cast and got an exclusive behind the scenes tour of the set. Damn I was pissed to find out the truth of the dolphin being robotic. I did endup talking to Roy scheider on the phone when he called the instructor for private lessons though.😁🐺

@@amarimorris9181 it was awesome actually. It was down in Orlando Florida. I was on vacation with my family and the offer was made to go to Universal studios with a friend of the family who just passed away last week who knew the Scuba diving instructor that taught the cast. When we got there I couldn't see much but the props and Scheider is a nice guy. Didn't talk long due to him being busy. He wanted to just say enjoy the tour and he mainly wanted to get some extra scuba lessons.

This should've been included on the season two DVD box set. This was filmed during production of the season two 2-hour premiere episode "Daggers."

I hope in the future that they develop a vehicle that operates like a submarine only to double up as a space ship when not traveling in the water….. much like a vehicle that transforms itself into a sea vehicle that floats on the surface of the water and to dive deeper like a submarine does. That same vehicle would then transform resell into a flying vehicle that can go out to space like a space shuttle does. Can that ever be possible?
