Aha! I found the voice actor for Mrs Potato, Darth Tater, and Poop, and Chester! You did a wonderful job voice acting them! Also you should tell the creators of STA Studios to unmerge them, bc I miss Mrs Potato’s voice and Darth Tater’s hat

SAME! Mrs Potato is probably the best character and I love his personality and the sound of his voice. But I’m not sure voice actors can do much about the show- I think?? I’m not sure but a lot of voice actors just record their lines and they don’t really do much for the actual shows writing. But maybe. Some do.

Are you the voice of Mrs Potato and Darth Tater in the Among Us animations? I really like your performances in those! I was wondering, how did you get into voicing characters in those animations? Keep up the great work! :)

Why yes. Yes I am KingYoshi! I appreciate the kind words! I’ve been doing voiceover for about 4 years now, and this series came up in one of my work streams, I auditioned, and 💥 bam! Here we are!

Hi Joe! The voice actor of Mrs.potato from STA. When a new among us Sta studio video comes out. I suggest to unmerge the potatoes so we can have the old voiced mr.potato back and save other characters last seen from the final battle episode. It can't end like this without them. Strongly suggestion. I hope STA studios comes back. Keep up the great work !

@Joe Essay I hope you all can still continue to make more among us after the finale. I also want to see if those potatoes can be unmerge in the future and for mrs.darth tater to become a different color. I really miss Mrs.Potatos old voice :(. Thank you for bringing back among us but please don't end it. We all want it to continue!

Thanks Doudlnl's Art!! STA is still alive out there somewhere, lurking in the unknown of the internet, waiting for their time to break out another awesome set of adventures for Mrs Potato, Darth Tater, Poop, & Chester! :) I'll pass this onto them and see if we can make it happen!

As a follow up ask; if possible, would you show your "secret sauce" settings for what you do to your audio? Thank you so much for whatever help you can offer.

Not really a whole lot of secret sauce. 1. Record at an appropriate input level. (Peaks sit at about -3 at their hottest) 2. 80Hz Rolloff to get rid of any rumbles and hard "p's" 3. Ever so slight compression 4. Normalization to -3db 5. Gentle noise gate, so there's no ugly breath things in between actual speech

Which mic is that ? Wish I could get that close to my Rhode Nt1a without it sounding too loud, if that makes sense.

This is a Sennheiser 416. The camera angle on this is a bit deceptive, as I usually am about 6 inches or so from the mic itself. I also have a Rode NT1 (not “A”) and I place it about 6 inches out as well. After you start getting too close the proximity effect starts overwhelming the capsule. In some cases that’s nice, but for most of my clients, that’s just now what they need. If it’s sounding “too loud” I’d recommend turning your gain down on your interface. Typically I record with peaks at about -6. That gives me enough headroom to avoid clipping if the script is wild! 😜

Doing fantastic cleverchester! It's a long toss up but it has to be either Darth Dater (aka Orange's clone) , Chester, or Sirenhead. (That was just a fun episode!)

It's so great to hear that you really enjoy voicing them, especially Chester because he's my favorite, I like how he sounds and his accent too :) Darth Tater, Sirenhead, and Mrs. Potato's voices are cool and unique; I may want to say that you did an amazing job on bringing the characters to life! 👏

Hey Joe Essay! Okay so I don’t know if I’m bothering you if so, my apologies. I have a friend who has some questions about STA Studios (assuming you’re in it) she can’t comment on videos so I’ve gotta do this for her. 1: “I was hoping that we’d some day see Mrs. Potato again knowing he’s a fan favorite character. Since him and DT merged, it’s a bit hard for that. So I was hoping that off and on Mrs. Potato can control the fusion alone to see his friends.” 2: was the relationship between Your Mom and Mr Pepperoni Man originally supposed to stay, or did you think in the middle she would be in a better ship with Mr Grits?” 3: “Was a relationship between Chester and Mrs. Potato originally canon? Or were they only friends? Just wanna know because I ship them and know it’s a wanted but not likely to happen anymore ship. If the merging was done to block out the ship ig I understand.” Anyway that’s it from her. Again sorry for bothering. I love your work and voices! Keep it up. (Apologizes if you don’t know the info)
