@@blueslover21 THIS!!! The thing I always found captivating about the Super Mutants in FO3/NV was how terrifying they looked! Especially with those teeth showing. It's also what made me love those few Super Mutants who WEREN'T hostile ingame. When we got our first glimpse of the Super Mutants in FO4 I was honestly pretty bummed that they'd been reduced to just...big grumpy green men as opposed to like literal hell demons. I want to feel afraid of these guys. I want them to look like fucked up science experiments, not just big grumpy dumb men.

@@blueslover21 it's not just a design choice it's also literally how they look because they were created by two different strains of F.E.V. in the lore and that's why there are far more intelligent super mutants on the west coast rather than the mostly failed dumb ones on the east Coast but there are some east coast mutants thar came out just fine too

The costumes were great, but I want to see a 'behind the scenes' showing how they built the power armor suits and what the stuntmen had to do to move in them.

i already checked if it was maybe shown by Adam Savage but not yet :D I am pretty sure he would be more then interested in getting his hands on that power armor :D

i really want to see a hole documentary on the costuming for this show. all the costumes are spot on and captured the vibe really well, especially the vault suits. except the ncr remnants, since they are remnants, its cool they aren't in full uniform, but at least for me, the airsoft gear weathered doesn't fit that well. still i think thats a design flaw, not the costuming department, still an amazing work

It's really difficult to make outfits from certain games not look like cosplay. But the costume designers really managed to make the costumes feel real.

Why is the costume designer talking about the 50's? The bombs fell in the 21st century... in 2077... That's over a hundred years after the 1950s. The aesthetics of the game are the retro future, as seen through a 50s lense. It's still the future. This really urks me. This is not an acceptable retcon.

Where do you see the retcon? It’s a more grounded “version” of the 50s fashion style, not the actual 50s. That’s consistent with pre-war Fallout outfit design.
