Different art forms come together and melt into a single unique performance - that’s the idea behind REEPERBAHN FESTIVAL COLLIDE. Curated with care, we permanently enrich the world wide web with a serial format celebrating music and art.
The concept:
One act, one visual artist, one shared stage. A creative culmination where unique and custom created works of art visually accompany live performances.
The Düsseldorf Düsterboys
Illuminating the zeitgeist from everchanging perspectives, yet consistently cultivating a musical language - not many German speaking bands are capable of a feat like that at the moment. If anyone has shown the courage to attempt such a cultural stock-take however, it’s Düsseldorf Düsterboys Peter and Pedro. Like a summerly warm fall day toward the end of October, the Düstersound simultaneously contradicts and complements itself, sound and image are in creative harmony - basically a perfect match for REEPERBAHN FESTIVAL COLLIDE. Where in cooperation with visual artist Benita Martis, the duo’s picturesque video aesthetics will be brought to a LED-screen in real time as a tailor-made work of live multimedia art.
Reeperbahn Festival is the biggest club festival in Europe and the largest European platform for international pop culture and the music industry. Since 2006, for four days each September the Reeperbahn in Hamburg, Germany has become the centre of the international music world and a sustainable interface between artists, the public, industry representatives and society.
The Reeperbahn Festival takes place under the sign of togetherness - racism, sexism, homophobia and exclusion have no place with us.

Verschiedene Kunstformen treffen aufeinander und verschmelzen zu einer einzigartigen Performance - das ist REEPERBAHN FESTIVAL COLLIDE. Mit Sorgfalt kuratiert, bereichern wir das world wide web dauerhaft mit einem seriellen Format und zelebrieren Musik und Kunst.
The Düsseldorf Düsterboys
Den Zeitgeist von immer wieder anderen Perspektiven beleuchten und dabei doch konsistent eine musikalische Sprache kultivieren - das gelingt nur den wenigsten deutschsprachigen Bands in diesen Tagen. Wenn überhaupt mal irgendjemand den Mut zur kulturellen Bestandsaufnahme in Ton- und Bildform bewies, dann waren das wohl die Düsseldorf Düsterboys Peter und Pedro. Wie ein sommerwarmer Herbsttag Ende Oktober widerspricht und ergänzt sich der Düstersound, sind Ton und Bild im kreativen Einklang - also perfekt geeignet für REEPERBAHN FESTIVAL COLLIDE. Hierbei wird die pittoreske Video-Ästhetik des Duos in Kooperation mit Visual Artist Benita Martis auf eine riesige LED-Wall gebracht und als maßgeschneidertes multimediales Kunstwerk live präsentiert.
Das Reeperbahn Festival ist das größte Clubfestival Europas und die größte europäische Plattform für internationale Popkultur und Musikwirtschaft. Seit 2006 wird die Hamburger Reeperbahn im September für vier Tage zum Zentrum der internationalen Musikwelt und damit zur nachhaltigen Schnittstelle zwischen Künstler*innen, Publikum, Branchenvertreter*innen und der Gesellschaft.
