Who ever edited this, did not sync the external audio up correctly. Which is refreshing. Because it means, even pros can't be perfect all the time. Nice

Little things like that are only things that videophiles like us will ever even notice (unless it's way off). But of course Pro's aren't perfect, they are just like anyone else, and nobody is ever finished learning.

***** go to school and learn physics. feather and brick would fall at the same speed it if wasn't for the wind. paper and brick fall at the same speed if you drop the paper correctly.

I still find it hard to believe that 1.) the zip lines were Rope, instead of steel cable AND 2.) that they were rigged up to a car??? Which is not a fixed anchor point. And I guess 3.) that the upper end was rigged to 2x4s instead of a more robust steel structure. It's a wonder that none of the rigging snapped under such stress. The amount of force required to make that line taut under load in enormous, but that's just the engineer in me. Obviously it worked but I'm still surprised & amazed.

I noticed the GoPro that flew in the main video, my heart stopped for a second, lol. Did you get any previous footage out of it (or even recover the bad clip)? Anyway, awesome video as always, you always put so much into your final videos and it really is great to look at your videos when they finally come out. I liked Chris's flight-rig as well, nice to see a GH4 in there!

Yeah, if the SD card survived the previous video(s) are fine. My main question was more about the clip that was recorded in the downfall, but judging by the fact that the shot did not appear in the final movie, I guess not.

The battery popped out of the Gopro on impact, when that happens you lose the footage :( Love the GH4!!!!!

this looks like everyone pulled all their talents together to produce a very exciting and entertaining video. I enjoyed it and at times I was scared for their safety. In your next video would you please explain all of the safety guidelines you follow and why. To anyone that follows base jumpers and those guys/gals that fly around in blown up body wings you know that it's very dangerous sport. I would hate to see/hear that something horrible happened to the Speed Stick GEAR team. the danger is part of the thrill, I absolutely get that, but I don't know of any jumper that wants to die or get mangled while enjoying the sport. I heard one of the crew say safety first but he was talking about the camera. If the zipline breaks? chute fails? cameraman falls off the roof. Who is the safety coordinator? Do you have a medic on staff. I video is more enjoyable when you know this a professional team and not crazies out proving their, well, crazy. Thank you for the video. I'd love to do that but I'd bet you money you would have to push me off.

I'm surprised at how strong the gopro casing is. It had no sharers, the camera was only broken where the lens came out of the casing.

So, did they have to land at the target? Could someone have ridden all the way to the end of the zipline instead of having to parachute? I mean, you have all of this length. Why not use it?

If they rode to the end, they would have crashed into the cars because they didn't prepare a landing area whatsoever.

Did you watch the video? Ropes are tied to cars, it wouldn't be pleasant to go all the way down.

Halotaku You've got to think about how fast they are going down the zipline, and how shallow the water is, depending on the speed they could get seriously hurt diving into the water, and if they went to the end of the zipline they would hit the cars and seriously hurt themselves. Plus they could crash into the boats if they're not careful it's better to parachute off half way through than risk it.

Halotaku Hitting water from that high up is like belly flopping into a concrete sidewalk. You would break every single bone in your body and die.
