Behind the Scenes: with Brendan Tan | Hillsong Y&F

Күн бұрынWe tracked with Brendan Tan for a day on the Youth Revival Tour in Canada. We met up in Toronto and took some time to chat and shoot some footage of the night.
Special thanks to the Y&F crew for allowing me the privilege to do this and to Blake Citro from Hillsong Phoenix who mixed the drum-heavy audio for the 4 videos that we are publishing here on our KZfaq channel.

All those great sounds solid rudiments during warmup to play 4 on the floor. Please integrate someone of those rudiments on the kit!

even i play ccm all the time in our church but i still do rudiments on my pad, like 6 stroke roll, paraddidle (diddle) before our service, it doesn't mean i'll use it, but the importance of exercising the fingers, the hand and maybe i'll add something on the buildup, the trash can...It is important to always make the wrist and fingers active before and during playing

Can somebody tell me the brand and model of the cymbals he is using?

In this video he was using Meinl cymbals. However, Brendan has recently switched to Heartbeat Cymbals.
