These are VOD style videos you can watch and re-watch anytime...anywhere -- while in your jammies if you wish. This is much better than having to get all dressed up...paying $2,500 plus flights and hotel for an expensive seminar ticket to learn from someone amazing, at some event run by strangers, that costs a fortune. I agree. From experience i know freedom. I am now an employee. I am still quite free. There is alot of bs amongst emloyees. I capitalize on the freedom my corporate employer allows and i can see i am not alone by a longshot. Its terrible really how many people have a job but dont know how to appreciate it and capitalize on their freedom

Talk about a mic drop moment. A lot of people in middle management really think they're somebody, they strut around like they own the place just because they're in charge of a few employees. No no, there are 2 classes - the person who owns the place and the people who work for them. That's it...

being a business owner is NOT easy in an age of amazon with fierce competition along with risks of being sued, and of course shutdowns thanks to covid 19. every situation is unique and everyone has to make the smartest decision and live with the results. 40% failure rate for small businesses in america. that is really high. i haven't even gotten into shrinkage, employee theft of services (hanging out on their cellphones instead of working for the wage you are paying them), routine wear/tear damage, i can go on. it's realy not that easy nor simple.

I also think there is something behind stability of good paying corporate jobs with benefits & healthcare. I was an entrepreneur, paid a higher tax bracket, ripped off by a medical biller, didn't have a very good CPA, and was actually an independent contractor when I was told I was an associate for a year. There are vultures out in the small business world and working hard doesn't always pay off- mistakes can be expensive.

Truth. I didn't watch it that much, but when I did, I found him an egomaniac that liked to rub it in the face of others, unnecessarily harsh just to benefit his role as the nasty guy on the show. But I've watched some of his videos since and I like his mindset a LOT. This video is gold.

it's not that simple,. i know new york city workers who make 200+ thousand dollars a year with full medical benefits and a pension coming up at half their salary for LIFE. sure beats working at a business as it is a 40% failure rate ESPECIALLY with covid 19. a city job is union protected. your own business? bankrutpcy thanks to amazon and govt. enforced shutdowns,.

Cool time to see this interview. I was talking with my friend's brother recently about video games and I told him I would rather work on a little side hustle I just started on involving a chemistry newsletter than play video games. I think the pandemic put into perspective that we are just at the whims of shareholders. It's better to be in control of your own destiny than at the whims of some institutional investors who want to see the company you work at go in a different direction.

Thanks.. by the way, I'm a trust fund baby that has some millions. I admire Kevin so much because I started with so much and am super lazy, and he started with nothing and made it big. Even if I made it big, I always started with a lot. But, having a lot makes you so lazy, and doesn't put your back against a wall, making it hard to accomplish much.

I respect Kevin O'leary not just because he is rich, but because he is unapologetic about his success. Right before this I was watching an interview with Ray Dalio where he was stating that capitalism needs to be reformed. How convenient is that for Dalio after he used said capitalism to obtain billions upon billions of dollars of wealth. I value honesty above all else and O'leary is totally right. You should not feel the need to apologize for your success in anything and life, but rather embrace the system that allowed you to get where you are. I am so sick of guilt ridden hypocritical billionaires lecturing the world about how they should live your life. Everyone should have the opportunity to work hard to obtain freedom and I applaud O'leary for speaking that message.
