Praise the Lord for you hearing words that comforted you and sending you friends that really care enough to share them with you. He is soo loving. I heard the music to this song before I heard the words. I livestream fellowship with Bethlehem Baptist Church on Sundays at 9am. Before they begin service, they play music during the countdown. I heard this song and the melody stirred in my heart, but I did not know the words. Well, today they sang it in the congregation! My heart leaped!! Now, I can enjoy the words AND the music. I recommend today's fellowship to you, please. I attended their services when I lived in Minneapolis. I, now, serve in Alabama. I know some of the members and leadership. They, truly, have a heart for ALL people. We are going through the Paul"s letter to the Colossians. I haven't cried from a song in about 5 years. God is so great and beautiful. God has blessed me so much. Not with material possessions. Not even with the ability to communicate clearly. But this song is such a beautiful praise to the true and living God! This song is what I would write if I wrote music. The words, the structure of the song, it's all so beautiful. It's how I would write a musical praise to God if I were a composer. It's as if the writer was inside of my brain when they wrote this. I have been in my Central Baptist Church 48 years. Jesus told Nicodemus that ruler of Jews in John 3:3 unless a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God! I went to Sioux falls South Dakota, Redding California, St. Elena Napa Valley in California as a travel nurse RN. KING JAMES BIBLE says What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul! I was looking up to see the bottom of my life in July, 2003. Three days later I got saved July 16th. JESUS died on that CROSS and saved a wretch like me! I will be with him in HEAVEN for eternity! I love King JESUS!!!!!!!! (JESUS is GOD!!!!!!!!)

Back in adolescence I wrestled for 6 years with the goodness of God, when I couldn't reconcile it with the extent of Job's suffering. This song brings me back to when God finally responds to Job, not with justification for his suffering, but with a glimpse of God's sovereignty since the beginning of time, reminding him that His hand is behind every situation. Though we may not understand the pain that we go through, we can trust in those hands, hand belonging to the same God who in love gave up his own life for us...

A year later but why not. Hamza, God's word says repent and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ. Be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ who is the propitiation (satisfaction of God's wrath) for sin. Apart from Christ we are without hope in this world and far from God but Christ has come to preach peace to those who are far from God. Why did He come to preach peace? Because apart from Christ we are not just far from God but at war with Him and under His wrath because of our sins. In Adam, the first man, we all fell and inherited a sin nature. Therefore we are now spiritually dead in our trespasses and sins but the love of God (and the good news of the gospel) is that through His eternal Son Jesus Christ those who believe in Him are totally forgiven and will be raised together with Christ as a new creation, born again to new life where they are now at peace with the God they once hated and will now, because of God's mercy and grace and through faith in Christ begin choosing to live their life in a way that brings glory to the God that saved them. Where can you find everlasting peace? In the Lord, Jesus Christ who was sent by His Father on a rescue mission, to live the life we could not live, die under the wrath of God that we deserve, be buried in a tomb that could not hold Him (but would have held us for eternity) and to rise from the dead in victory over death. Peace can be found in a Person and what He has done for His people, Christ Jesus the Lord. May the Lord grant you repentance and faith and salvation in His Son, Amen.

One of my best friends and her brother sang this song for a special at church one Sunday morning. My friend sang and played the piano while her brother sang. Her microphone fell onto her hands and then her arms in the middle of the song. She started to cry because it messed her up but then she was able to start again at the 2nd verse. The look in her brother's eyes were the most touching thing that i have ever seen. It was as if he was telling her that it is going to be okay with only his eyes. If anyone says that there isn't a spiritual battle going on every day then they not only are lying to others but they are lying to themselves.

First time hearing this at Bethany Baptist Church in bellflower CA. They were our family for about a year. All praise to The Lord and the Lord alone. before they even started singing tears were already welling up in my eyes. this song is so beautiful. reminds me of what Jesus did. and makes me think about how the most powerful being ever God Most High came in the flesh and became sin for us and humbled himself and died on the cross for us sinners, and how he rose again in all his glory and victory and power. And now Jesus is seated at the right hand of God with his enemies as his footstool. Praise the Lord God Almighty Jesus Christ our Savior, the Risen Savior of the world, the King of Kings, the Prince of Peace, the Author and Finisher of our Salvation, the Alpha and Omega, the Lord of Lords, our Righteousness!
