I think the next character they add should be the peglin chef he would start on floor two and have the cake relic. He would also start with eggs instead of stones, and have a clevorb.

The classes do also have different orb pools. There are certain orbs you can’t get with the Balladin, and those you can’t with the Roundrel

The double-edged interaction with repeating an orb is probably a side effect of how it was implemented. Plus, if it did follow the structure of "You draw it once but you can use it twice" then it would probably mean things like Restorb that say "Can only be used once per battle" wouldn't get the extra use.

The other new character is really good with overwhammer and pierce orbs, keep this in mind when playing with him

I honestly love the creativity behind the new enemy in the mines (I don't know what its name is, but I call it Danny). It only takes one damage from every shot, but it can be killed in a timely fashion, there's giant pegs, and there's new sprites! So much went into a single fight!

I do think that starting a fight with 4 balwark is laughably bad. It blocks one hit for maybe the majority of the floor one monsters, but past that it's only 4 damage saved a fight. I mean that does add up, sure, but taking into account all the balwark synergies... Look I'd much prefer getting 1 balwark per turn is what I'm getting at. That's still not too strong, but at the very least it can stack up with the orbs and relics that use balwark. And of course, most notably, it doesn't even compare to the normal peglin or even the thief class' starting relics.

Angry tomahawk should really get it's description fixed. It doesn't seem to actually scale the lower your health is, but rather how much health you are missing, making it much better.

@aliensrock Honestly amazed at how you / editor somehow edit these down to 26 minutes. Whenever I do an episode on these it ends up being around 40-50 minutes. I was trying to see at what points some stuff was cut out and its done so smoothly. I need tips D:

i think the peglin relic for more choices is so strong, the balladin relic should give at least 10 shield to be equal strength and the roundrel relic should apply the random effect at level 3 instead of level 1 then all class specific relics are more balanced with each other

A really cool relic would be a relic that shoots 2 orbs instead of 1, but each orb is only 50% damage of original, would be great against the shield dudes

I gotta say, I don't like how double-edged-sworb refreshes when drawn. It should doing that right after you fire it, so you can choose between potential damage and safety but less damage

the 99 health enemy takes 1 damage for every peg hit and for every bomb/attack/chipdamage is all reduced you can toss a 10000 damage attack, and he takes 1 damage

the dragon would be great with suffering and gift. I did the dragon with gift and swoltorbs and it went really easy. you can shoot it straight down and it gets a lot of hits

I would argue that balladin is better in raw power as he gets things like irresponsiball which scales stupid fast and become ridiculous from turn 1 which peglin can do as well but not quite as easily.

I wonder if they will ever add endless mode. Procedurally generating an infinite dungeon out of all the levels combined seems very much possible, and scaling the enemies seems possible as well. It would be pretty fun to see how far you can take a build.

Is restorb plus persist basically infinite health? Thinking shoot it once then discard then next time you draw it you can shoot it once then discard etc. or did they think about that when programming and it’s removed from the deck after discarding. Don’t have the game so can’t test for myself

Does anyone know if the new characters are on the mobile version? I bought it as soon as it came out and have been grinding it but I have no idea if the new character is even available. I know you have to stack 50 ballwark on an enemy but I’m not gonna bother doing that if there isn’t even a new one to unlock on mobile.
