hahaha yeah this synth has a very distinctive character and it is very hard to deviate from it. i wonder if that could be done with less fx (maybe i will try another video sometime with this mindset haha)

as mentioned in the description, the chain goes from TD3 to delay, then to reverb, then to another delay and another reverb. Basically I tried to sculpt the sound of TD3 to fit "busy" ambient, if you will. If you have any daw and you could route the signal through effects in you daw (or if you have some pedals lying around) you could experiment, since the "clean" sound of this machine is very not spacey. It fits beautifully for some genres, however I tried making it more ambient oriented so I had to use a solid amount of effects.

Thanks for the reply did you use a set program for notes or was it freestyle? I could see you were changing pitch but couldn't work out if we're using a note pattern to start .

@@davidslapp3400 ah you mean that! 😅 yeah i basically made 8 patterns on the same bank in the same key, so I could freely change them to whichever and it would be in tune. Behringer provides a software to create patters so it's very easy (since the oldschool way of making patterns on the device itself is a complete torture)

i think everything can take effects if you stack enough of them... you can make beautiful pads from a drum sound :}

@@MrOnlyeye yes, but that is not necessary.. the sound itself might not have anything in those frequencies but the reverb can add mids and highs. Set a delay afterwards, another reverb and you have a full palette all of a sudden :)

i'm pretty sure someone has done it already.... :D
