PinguZz 420 is pretty sure you can use the exact same driver for the UMC22 interface. So you would do it the exact same way and plug in the UMC22 when the installation tells you to plug it in.

Thanks Simple Green! I've been battling an intermittent battle with Studio One and my Behringer UM2 where Studio One simply stops recording. I had tried everything and nothing worked until I found your video and the links to the UM2 drivers. So far, two hours of recording in, it appears the 64-bit driver has corrected the issue.

Really useful that, thank you. Clearly explained. It wasn't working at all before I downloaded the driver from here. I actually found this video through the questions sections on Amazon. Someone had commented that they couldn't get it working until they found a video on youtube, and they typed in the name of the driver to search to bring this video up. Thank you

@@oath4231 Did you change the device that your software is using? You should change it to an ASIO device and select Behringer USB Audio as your interface. Then select input 1 or 2 depending on which input you use. The driver works for me and thousands of others that have downloaded it.

I've been using it because I'm a producer. I worked well after I bought a mic, when I wanted to record some vocales, it sounded weird. I guess is the mic, but lots of my friends told me that the problem is the interface, hope this video could help me to solve my problem

Thank you so much for the driver! I'd been trying to use ASIO4ALL as it was all I could find on the Behringer site. It wasn't working with Audacity at all, and with the native drivers my setup was picking up white noise through the laptop's internal mic even though I'd disabled it through Device Manager. Everything's now working perfectly, even with my entry-level Neewer mic that I bought two years ago. I'll be using this for VO work and podcasts.

Sir, i know this video is from few years ago, but you saved my happiness! I struggled over the year with lattency around 100ms while recording voice, with drivers from Behringer official site. I could not record with effects cuz if i turned on self hearimg in program, 100 milliseconds latency is like echo. And today, when i was thinking aboit buying some crazy 1000$ equipment just to fix this problem, your video sir, helped me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

+Kooked have you tried starting the install without the interface connected? It will prompt you to connect it after.

Simple Green Tech I managed to fix it but the Audio only came through the left earphone, changed OBS settings to “mono” and seemed to do the job! Does the driver allow me to change settings? Example: add reverb?

You saved me time thank you! Several sites even very legit ones are linking in an honest mistake to the wrong driver leading to the input 2 not working. I do wish you would post the original links to the drivers so we can see where they are downloading from but I also wish Gigi Hadid wanted to practice making babies with me...

So glad I ran into your video. For the longest time I couldn't record on any DAW bcuz I didn't have an ASIO driver and I downloaded the "universal" one and it wouldn't playback any sound. I had no idea Behringer had its own🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ Hopefully I did it right this time. Thanks so much for the video. 🙌💯 (Amateur music producer here) I think I finally figured it out.

Thank you. I was going to replace my um2 because it worked so poorly with asio4all. Not sure why Behringer would not promote the driver that makes the thing usable. I just wanted a cheap interface for my laptop for quick and dirty sketches and recording ideas. It does not even need to sound great. But it needed to work with usable latency and not a 1000 cracks and pops. Thanks again. You saved my device and Behringer owes you one.

big help with the popping/clicking on youtube...needed to lower system performance in ASIO to normal. relaxed normal gave more of a dropping out popping versus the faster ones with what sounds like signal overdrive clipping. so go to the DAW and not something in windows device manager or a Behringer app. I never would of thought of that, thanks again

so i just got this interface yesterday and ever since i’ve been trying to use a cracked version of fl studio 20 with it, but every time i start fl up it just gives me an error saying it couldn’t initialize rendering in a shared mode, and then it doesn’t play any sound, can you give me some tips?

Hello, i need your help. I use this card for streaming, but i want to get the sound of computer and my instruments on this card through direct monitoring. On my old computer this card works as an usb audio codec and it work as i need, but in another my computer it asks me to install the certain drivers (it doesn`t detect automaticly usb audio codec) and when i do this I can only record instruments or listen to the sound from computer!!!! THat`s the problem. I wanna get my card with usb audio codec drivers to work fine but not with this drivers you suggest us, cause they are broken for my purpose. Can you help me please?

I'm running this driver with my U-Phoria UMC22. I'm having an issue when I'm working in Ableton where nothing else on my system will play (Spotify, KZfaq, etc.). If I restart the computer, those things will play again until I start to work in Ableton again. Any help?

Iam using it in my midi controller Is good but I try to download from the web site but there is the asio for all not this one. This driver give all the time I boot up my pc a tibia data is invalid since I installed but it woks with no problems but if you know what cud be the issue let me know thank you

Okay, I thought I had solved the issue but now I'm getting popping through my headphones that wasnt there before... Still, I'm on the right track, I appreciate the tip!

The popping sound could be from having the buffer setting set to too fast or a setting. You can try putting it to a slightly slower setting. If the latency is too bad you can use the direct monitor feature if needed.

Hi sir, does Behringer um2 INST 2 connection records in software ? I tried it but didn't recording. I'd insert a microphone in first option and second opinion my synthesizer. I was planning to record both. Kindly clarify me the second opinion which means the instrument 2 connection.

I have an issue with my audio interface... When Im switching my plugin in fl studio, the sound will be muddy?(idk how to describe it lol) but then when i switch the audio device to asio driver and back to um2, it becomes normal again so did u guys have the problem too or is it associated with the driver issue?

Hi , I have downloaded the respective drivers but not working while connecting to DAW. I am using Bandlab (DAW) and need assistance to connect my um2 to bandlab. Added to that I have modx6 synthesizer.

Would the driver work with windows 7 and 8.1 too? And in that case, could I play guitar with Guitar Pro and listen KZfaq sounds in the meantime? Actually I am using a usb cable for guitar and Asio4all wth my internal audio interface (realtek) and I cannot.

Hi Buddy.... Good presentation. And I have a problem... I'm using the same (Behringer U-Phoria UM2) with my DAW(Cubase 10.5 Pro). But, I am not able change its buffer size or Latency. I can switch it in the control panel to a relaxed mode.....,but when I open the control panel next time, it will be in Fast mode only. It was not shifted actually. Why it is happening this way ?

hello i have um2 and mxl 990 but my mic sound really bad for some reason when it shouldn’t be since the mxl has mid-high end audio quality so idk what’s going on i’m using my old bm800 xlr cable on my mxl 990 migh it be the problem?

Hello, I am using Behringer um2 with my avid pro tools, I am able to record eveyrthing but with my interface plugged in I am not able to hear my recording. Would be able to help? I haven't found any solutions on it and I'm having a hard time because i am not able to hear my recording.

HEY AUDIO TECH TV! For some reason, I can't hear the playback from Protools First in the headphones through the interface. The interface is selected in the Playback engine, but still nothing. Can you help, please?

I just ordered this interface. I've been using my Tascam DR40 as a "analog" interface using the headphone out to the line in on my Windows 10 PC but that's not ideal obviously. I'll be using this for voice chat and voice over work running a cheap BM-800 condenser mostly. the DAW I've been using is Reaper.

Ok, So we are working with UMC22 and a windows 11 Samsung. The DAW is not really a DAW it is JAMKAZAM. We did load this Behringer driver. It would pop up in the configuration set up in Gear Set up of the JamKazam, but nothing was clickable. Thoughts?

Thank you for the video and the software. I installed this on my Win10 Thinkpad laptop to play guitar using stand alone Amplitube 4 but the latency is unbearable. But on my macbook pro i just plugged with no driver and play with almost zero latency. Really want to get the same result for my Thinkpad.

Hi there Radio_Zane. Thank you for your advice and download link for the 64bit Behringer UM2 driver. Most reviews of the UM2 highlight DRIVER conflicts that create noise when recording. On delivery of my UM2 (today), I downloaded the driver from your link and installed on to my Windows 10 laptop. The first test recordings with my budger BM800 Condensor microphone were fantastic. I use Audacity (Open Source Free software) for recording, and the noise levels were amazingly low. The UM2 is located in-line with my ''beer can'" and extension flexes for the rest of my monitor and laptop setup. As the UM2's shielding is weak due to its plastic construction, many users have complained of electric noise levels. I may have been saved from this as my power source for all equipment is via an AVR (automatic voltage regulator for my computer system) which may be a helpful addition. Something to be considered. It is worthy to note that the effect of the AVR extends beyond the UM2. I also connect my electric Fender Squier Stratocaster through the AVR via the Fender G-Dec Junior (that came with the package) and have pleasantly NOT had any HUM when I hook it up. I have heard on videos on Fender Squier Stratocaster how loud the HUM can be. Hope this feedback is helpful. Thank you. Cheers.
