I spy with my little eye a Yugo, a FSO and most surprisingly, a Toyota pick-up, a Nissan Patrol, and most surprisingly, a Volvo 240 !

I visited Beijing for my one and only time in the summer of 1986. This video matches my memory of the city. I’d be curious to see footage now of the exact same street.

Roads wider than our "Severojižní Magistrála" in Prague or "D1", and with minimum of cars (and full of cyclists). Compared to todays China it looks like a different galaxy. And I don´t mean it in negative way - yes, China´s growth is totally awesome and i´m not a green fanatic, but it isn´t the same without these cyclists.
