I've been alone my entire adult life, not because I want to be, but after a while of getting continously hurt by people you find it's easier to stop trying than to continue getting hurt

This is a great video. I also went to a martial arts gym. I was new in town and the people there were so friendly and it became my home away from home. I have a tendency to move around too much and stop communicating with my friends so I isolate myself and it's not healthy. Thank you for some good advice.

I was somewhat of a lone wolf, for many years. I agree: it was a big mistake; I now feel today that I have permanently damaged my life.

It can happen. Pandemic, prejudice etc. I weeded my friend garden, pandemic hit, lost a lot of connections. Especially when social media showed some crazy ideas the had that weren't life affirming. Genuine connections with good people can be really hard. Rather be alone for the right reasons then with people for the wrong. Great video. ❤
