Men ROAR for Sports but MEOW for Faith...

This was so rich! WOW!!! I cried after I watched this. Then I watched it again and took notes! My husband and I get along great but hearing all that you have shared has opened my eyes, as a WIFE, on how to be a BETTER wife to him. The Holy Spirit convicted me of some things I had done and it surprised my husband when I came to him and apologized to him for some things I unknowingly did to him early on in our marriage and even last week! He then watched this video. We both sat down and had a very honest conversation. I took notes so I could reflect, remember, and pray on what my husband shared with me. I have NEVER taken notes while talking to my husband before! He shared ALOT and I wanted to be sure I remembered it all! The things he shared with me I never knew about him in my 20 years of knowing him! This unlocked something in our relationship that we never knew that we needed and we were able to begin to grow from just 1 conversation! We have more understanding, we are stronger, and dancing in the rain together! We definitely will be talking more because this a lot to take in! Thank you Pastor Jerry, Issac Curry, and Ezekial Azonwu for your HONESTY as men! We DO NOT HEAR THIS ENOUGH IN CHURCH!!!! But I am glad that we heard it here! I don't know if this helped anyone else but it helped us in a HUGE way!! This word was just for us! I know now how to pray and how to SPEAK LIFE INTO MY HUSBAND! This is such a good message. In this day and age, men don't even like to come to church or their view on manhood isnso different frkm God's. As someone who knows men in the world, people are so wrapped up in their own lives but when things like church challenge their normalcy, they get weirded out. I’m listening to this 2 years later and I have the biggest smile on my face. I have an almost 5 year old son and I always thought that it starts with me on how he will become a follower of Christ. I need to submit to God and allow Him to work through me so my son can see how you should walk with Christ. I am a woman and cannot teach him how to be a man, but I can teach him to be a follower of Christ and how to treat a woman. I also allow him to express himself so he isn’t a man who shuts down when he is feeling his feelings. I’ve taught him that it is okay for us to feel our feelings but to not dwell in it because it is just a moment of your life NOT your whole life. I teach him that it is okay to fall but to stand back up because of Proverbs 24:16. I am divorced and one thing I will never do is teach my son to hate his father. Why? Because Jesus told us to love. Also because my son is half me and half his dad. What happens when he starts seeing qualities of his father in him? Do I shut it down and tell him no because of anger? No. I teach him how to accept who he is and to WORK on how to become a better version of me and his father. He may not have a present earthly father but my son has a Heavenly Father who will never leave him nor forsake him. Thank you for this message y’all, it was beautiful. As a woman of God, that seeks the Lord. We listen to our pastors because we want to know about the Lord. Our husbands should be the ones washing us in the word of God. Most of the wives I know, their husbands want read the word. We all are made in God’s image, we all need love, affirmations, respect and appreciation.

Oh man, this hit so hard. 😢 My marriage is coming to an end. I wish we knew and learned what we are learning now. I know God is still in control, and its Gods will not our own. He is still writing this story. My husband and i are still in a growing and healing process. I just dont know anymore if we will be together. Here in a month, the court will tell us we are no more. Im just praying God keeps breaking me, helping me unlearn all my trauma and learn Gods truth. And we both still grow. Even if we are not together anymore. And that our children grow and see Gods hand in everything.

The only attraction you have is darkness. We end up defending dysfunction. The Holy Spirit never stops, it constantly keeps going. The light 💡 spurts that mess you up. Between 16-24, off of daddy’s wallet and mommy’s breast. What have you stuck with that is uncomfortable but fruitful? The ability to remain through discomfort; long suffering. The very first area that a boy will experience an attack is on his tongue. The root of insecure is unsafe. Insecure people isn’t insecure with everyone & doesn’t feel unsafe in all environments. I love the little boy in you. We’re all affected by what happened & didn’t happen to us. That is good. 1. Be consistent 2. Watch that tone 3. Be a led man Judas is the friend of your enemy. There's nothing wrong with loving the little boy or girl. Just it's discernment. With narcissists who are abused the child puts up a wall, sins and if repeat sin the soul can't be found. I spent 14 years trying to love a 6 year old boy, but all there was was demons.

This was so needed. I have been praying for the men and their identities in Christ. Many men are stuck in brokenness and don't walk as kings as they should be. This in return stunts the growth of the Godly legacies that can come from them.

Truth trumps reality 🙌🏽

I have such a heart for men especially in the body of Christ. Every 3rd Tuesday of every month my Bible study group focuses on the men. We have a man lead the Bible study so they can walk more into their gifts in the word of God and we as women pray over the men and speak life over them ❤️🙏

The dark connection is so deep and not obvious...and we make excuses for them when really we are making it for ourselves because we don't want to face the "ugly" inside of us but somehow believe the other person should be facing theirs.. It really takes the Holy Spirit to open our eyes. We cant know our own hearts unless He shows it to us and He won't unless we humble ourselves. May the Lord have mercy on us all!
