She actually looks like my mum, who just turned 75 a week ago last Monday, and she has three sons, who were addict's, listen to this mate, when my mum's second marriage ended she was having a bit of a breakdown, and she went to the dr's, and he wouldn't give her valium, cos she had three addict sons, and when I lived at home and was working, she would give me money to get gear every day, so I would get up for work in a morning, God bless our mum's, i absolutely love my mum 💙💯.

It’s the mums and families that suffer the most. They are getting all the pain and worry without getting any of the highs that the users get and giving money as well. ❤

@@missmuffet3874 well said miss muffet, couldn't of put it betta myself, some of the shit my mum has been through, my eldest sister also died of an alcohol related illness 18 yrs ago, she would be 58 in July, and her eldest son, my mum's eldest grandchild, died of an overdose 2 years ago, he was found in Preston collapsed, through heroin and snide pregabs, I've said it countless times, they can give you nalaxone for the swag, but there's absolutely nothing they can do, if you OD off pregabalin, not joking Miss M, i bet I've easily had 100 ppl od while I've been there, and can honestly say, I haven't lost a single one, ppl, will do the two worst things u can do, slap them, or put them in cold water, cos they can go into shock, all u need to do, if nothing else is put them in the recovery position and phone an ambulance, i know it ain't clever, but I probably would do a betta job then some medics, and also, when my mum and dad split up and my mum remarried and had two more children, my little sister and brother, and they're both drug free, hope you're well and good MissMuffet, shit gardening weather today, pissed it down all day here, and Roscoe hates it when it rains, you'd think i was trying to murder him😆,

@@missmuffet3874the users don’t get highs in the end and if there’s addicts on the gear today I would implore them to jib it off because it’s absolutely crap, there is barely, if any, heroin in the crap that gets dealt on the streets today.

Heart breaking for families when addiction strikes the family..a beautiful mam never gives up on her kids...unbelievable special
@technomickdocumentalist249524 күн бұрын
Big one this Billy, 💯 your Mam is a beautiful soul, you can see and hear what she’s endured, but has come out the other side twice as strong and wise, as you have yourself. This had me reflecting on the last 20+ years with my on and off heroin and crack and I also have my mother by my side, always has been, and at times over the years I’ve put her through some awful things, and other family members too, I’ll be eternally sorry and disgusted with myself for my antics as a younger addict. Just like your Mam said about her pawning her gold rings and jewelry, my mam did all that too, and a few years after I robbed some of them and pawned them myself and ultimately ended up losing them. I’ve sold so many birthday and Christmas gifts from my family, just total disrespect in the pursuit of drugs, i pawned my best mates fishing gear so I could go buy gear and crack for 1 big speedball shot, and also lost them in the end too, understandably he won’t talk to me anymore, we were best mates from 14 years old ( 40 now ). I’ve sold my soul and even the devil came back and asked for a refund because it was so tarnished and rotten to the core. In the last 3-4 years I’ve got my using down to couple times a month ( payday junky ) but at least I truly haven’t had a daily habit for knocking 4 years now. Lost my daughter ( my only child ) 4 years ago, and just to clarify it wasn’t through using drugs or drug lifestyle problems, because I was doing good, it was through her abusive mother, and I just had nowhere to turn for help and support, so I spoke to “ antisocial services “ and in the end they built a case and I had to give up because it became a forced adoption case, where it was impossible for me to get her back, but I can, and do console myself with the fact that I put her safety first, even though I knew that I was gonna spite myself and lose access and contact with her, for all the good it was I was actually commended by the 3 judges for speaking out and asking for help to secure my little girls physical safety, and her mental health was being trashed by her mam, it was and is so heartbreaking to me, I actually feel damaged by many aspects of the whole situation, even if I hear a child actor screaming on tv, it just instantly throws me back to random memories of horrible times. Anyways I’m getting a bit deep here, sorry pal. Thanks once again Billy for your messages of hope and your channel all round. 💯🙏 If you do end up coming to Middlesbrough / Teesside then please do consider coming to see me mate ? Even if it’s not for an interview or a walk round the area, on camera ( which I would be happy to do ) but then it would be great to see you face to face for half an hour mate, like I said before it’s been 20 years since we were in rehab, so it would be boss to actually see you. 👍

One got clean and then committed suicide. the other one came off heroin but turned to drink. My aunty passed , and my uncle just passed from cancer. Heartbreaking to see what their parents went through and our family. So this has made me smile, your mum finally getting peace and not having to worry about her kids. Ps Happy birthday baby Bobby. 🎉

We sometimes think we're strong living in sobriety but we were out of it all those years using so the affects were very jaded and muffled by the lifestyle, which we strive to leave behind. Its those around us who suffered while living their own lives who have the real strength. They don't have that choice of leaving some feelings behind as they suffered in real time, and often more than we'll ever realise.

Hi Billy, Thanks for your vid. And a huge Thankyou to your Mum Pat!. Wow Billy, this video is one of if not the most powerful videos I've ever watched on KZfaq mate!. Powerful for all the right reasons!. Billy, none of us know the worry we put on our families when we're living in that lifestyle mate. We never stop and think of the effect it has on them!. We think that it's just ourselves that's going through it but as your mum said it's not just us!. Your Mum has just shown real courage and bravery to give her very honest account of how it was for her. I'm very sure that her story will help many people who watched this video and who are currently going through that lifestyle!. It may help them to stop for a minute and think of the effect that it's having on their own families and loved ones!. Billy, the best amends that you can make to your family is by continuing to be the man that you're today mate!. Please give your mum a big hug mate. Thanks again to you both for this incredibly powerful video. John. ♥️💯🤔👍
