I would’ve loved the the ending better if it was Annie, Mitchell, George, Eve and Nina that became the humans and lived happily ever after. Anne and Mitch would’ve had kids and eve wouldve been best pals with the new babies. The gang just enjoying each other presence and experiences

Poor Rook. He willingly sacrificed himself, and they are just literally stepping over his body. I'd be a lot sadder about it, though, if that had been real...

That was a great ending...even thou the devil did put them in their paradise and won....

But that doesn’t make sense when you factor in the prophecy from season 4. Because of the whole thing with eves death being the end of all vampires and werewolves. Unless the prophecy meant that with the end of the three types thing being foreshadowing to the devil trapping Hal,Tom, and Alex in a different reality. Or maybe the paper wolf at the end was a sign that the devil could still return, or that he wasn’t completely defeated.

@@orlandomartir5879 I know it’s been a year but I’ll reply anyway The prophecy from season 4 about eve was really nothing special, humans saw her as a weapon in which they could use to defeat the vampires which stopped them from developing proper weapons to help them win. Eve was just human nothing special about her just the myth she could help defeat the vampires. That’s also why in the end The old ones wanted to keep eve locked away safe so humans would be easier to subjugate and why in the end Annie killed her to ensure they don’t put their faith in her Also the wolf at the very end is there to show that the devil is still alive and that the ending is all a fabrication, the devil makes the wolf in toms dream and Hal says that he should have put them all together or else he’d lose. There is a extra scene that shows them realising they’re in a dream and the devil is still alive

Honestly think the original plan was going to have Mitchell George and Nina and Annie and Eve all become human in the end but since everyone wanted to do other things the writers had to change things up (IDK that's just my theory.)
