Thank you. I wished I had heard your info 4 years ago. Been off and on with a separated married man who is not divorcing his wife for financial reasons. I should have walked away a long time ago but am doing it now so I can heal my life.

It’s not an easy situation. You can feel like you’re just waiting a lot bit longer until they get the divorce but it usually doesn’t happen. Don’t be unkind to yourself. You’re making the decision now because you’re putting yourself first. The guy was the one was separated and chose not to get divorced so it’s his decision and his loss. Take care of yourself 💕

For me the divorce has to be final. I need to know things have ended permanently before I give my all. Not saying divorce won’t stop a possible future reconciliation but it makes it harder and so a person who divorces would have to have already seriously outweighed the consequences of their decision. Because of the awful relationships I’ve been through I couldn’t accept anything less than absolute decisiveness.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Yes, there’s something about the closure when someone is divorced versus uncertainty when they’re separated. I agree with you that a person who gets a divorce they’ve made a conscious decision. Sorry to hear that you have been through some awful things and I hope that you have healed and are in a better place in your life now 💕

According to God’s words (which is life), he tells us that if we marry one who has a spouse who is alive, we are committing adultery. In the 10 Commandments, “thou shalt not commit adultery” is the 7th Commandment. This might seem normal but it’s a very serious sin before the eyes of God and the wages of sin is death. We are all accountable for our actions- good / bad. You are an amazing woman and I would honestly advice you and anyone out there to seek God’s truth and guidance and you shall never fall. The Bible is our everyday guide. May God bless you. Jesus Christ loves you!!

Thank you for your feedback. My video was talking about the difficulty when someone separates from their spouse in order to date again but they haven’t officially divorced. In some people’s eyes, separation means they’re single whilst for others, you’re not single unless the divorce is finalised. I don’t think adultery is committed if a couple have been separated for a while and are in the process of divorcing but again, everything depends on how each person views the situation. I appreciate your thoughts about it and thank you for watching 😊💕
