I saw this clip of hers on Instagram the other day without knowing that it was some known thing that had videos about it. The comments were insane, full of people saying she shouldn't have been denied for her tattoos and stuff and I commented that basically your public image mattes and there are actual practical reasons why many places don't want employees with a billion piercings or tattoos on them. Apparently this is something that needs to be explained to people nowadays, businesses must be accepting of literally anything you've done to yourself instead of looking out for themselves at all, it's insanity. And as a side note, you may like going this far to "be different", "express yourself" or just attract attention, but work places don't all want that, they in fact mostly don't like getting unnecessary attention in the form of comments about their employees and stuff. Part of it has to do with genuinely looking out for you too, who would be responsible if a customer gets mad and makes the same genuine arguments for piercings near food etc I do here, this would go straight to the people who hired her and worst case scenario that includes an actual accident with a piercing on the food. You look bad there too, it's not just your employers. The people running it may genuinely think it's cool but you're working with the entire public. This is just how humans work, it would be the exact same argument in a reality where everybody looks like her and there's one completely different person complaining over this stuff (except I guess it would make more sense over there because they'd be protesting their right and need to stay clean of piercings and tattoos for health related reasons).

If she would take out the nose ring and piercings, cover her tattoos and try to look somewhat presentable, I’m sure she could get a decent job. They still might not hire her, but at least it’s a step in the right direction.

If I was an employeer I would not care if an employee has tattoos. I have friends covered in tattoos with jobs. One guy I know has his head done. Like who cares, it's just drawings. When I was in school I had really long hair as a bloke, and my school made me cut it off. How does my hair effect my education. P.S I have zero tattoos.
