Microtech nailed it with these. I have the MSI in g10 and the Stitch in aluminum. Action and tolerances are superb and the prices are right for sure. No lock issues on mine as well. I got skiffs for the Stitch even though it doesn’t rely need them. Amphibian is definitely on my list. My only gripe is the ambidextrous clip option and proud clip hardware, but everything else is so well done that it makes up for those things.

Ya they are definitely quality at a good price. Didn’t even notice that the screws were proud till you said that. Gives it that industrial look but I have been using them for grip when pulling it out of pocket. The clip retention is definitely strong.

Mine didn't fail the dumb spine whack test either. Lock up is awesome. Love the green!

Sometimes I forget your a Microtech fan, I really like the Amphibian- it was one of my top blades for 2023. But lately I’ve gravitated towards the MSI, and I purchased the OG scales for it, really changes the way the knife feels and handles, super nice. Kinda makes you wonder why they didn’t do it originally.

Haha. Sometimes I forget also. I’m really impressed with the quality feel this has and didn’t even know og made scales for them.

I have both the Amphibian and MSI. I'm with you the MSI is a great all-around EDC knife.

I have been buying a lot of the current Microtech’s OTF and Ram-Lok, Microtech is just crushing it right now!
