We had huge charcuterie boards in the bridal party getting ready areas and it was amazing. People just mindlessly snacked throughout the day so we never got too hungry or had to take a huge amount of time to sit down and eat.

I felt the SAME WAY about our first dance! We were so uncomfortable with everyone staring at us. We had a lot of families at our wedding, so to break up the awkwardness of everyone watching while we danced with our parents, we asked the DJ to (after the first chorus of each song) invite all the mothers/sons and fathers/daughters to come share the dance together with us. It filled up the dance floor and for me, allowed me to chill and enjoy a special moment with my dad!

The post wedding blues are real!!! We had our honeymoon a week after our wedding and I highly recommend!!! We were able to pack the whole week, get lots of rest, and still had something to look forward to. But after the honeymoon I was so sad!!

Omg! I am so excited for Bekah! I am a wedding photographer and currently planning my wedding so I love hearing about your plans and vision. Can’t wait to follow along on your wedding journey. Oh and as a professional I can honestly say no one is price gauging. The reason things are so expensive for things like florals and decor is because Covid screwed up supply so things are harder to find and more expensive when you do. Especially florals which often get flown in from South America and with these gas prices it’s just not possible to charge the same. As for some venues and other service-based vendors, many of us didn’t change our prices over the course of the last two wedding seasons due to so many changes and restrictions so now a lot of us have upped our prices by two/three years worth simply to get back to a normal flow. Also having so few bookings over multiple years with the cost of living so high now many of us need to price up to stay afloat. Just some details many people don’t know. Love y’all and congrats!
