Thank you for this video. I'm wondering if these built-in fridges need a space for venting. If we have carpenters make the cabinet, what instructions would they need? I'm thinking of using a Bosch 800 22 inch built in counter depth bottom freezer refrigerator. Thank you.

Yes, all built in fridges and freezes need some opening for ventilation.. you should find a drawing with measurements for the specific model you want on the fridge manufacturer website

Excellent video. What IKEA hinges did you use for the cabinet to cupboard doors ? I want to make sure the hinges I order are not too deep to fit the fridge freezer inside. I know sounds silly but only discovered about 153 deg hinges for slide out drawers when fitting so want to get it right 👍

Great video, wish I found it earlier. Btw, did you install the IKEA legs or suspension rail on the wall to support the weight. My builder didn’t, install any. He put two pieces of wood underneath the unit and I am now wondering how the fridge will ventilate .

I install suspension rail on the wall + IKEA legs in front (according to IKEA wall suspension is obligatory). About ventilate - only one chance in your case - from the sides...

i think extra space (whole) inside the cabinet is not necessary, - you must have space over the cabinet for ventilation. this space appears because of non standard height of fridge

I replaced my zanussi with a beko 50/50.. now the fridge cabinet opens both because the the beko fridge door entented just about 1cm below the top cabinet door- any ideas on how to fix this or do i need to retuen the fridge?

if you mean cabinet to wall mounts - just put out the white/black plastic cover of the mounts

10:58 Can you tell me why the fin strip is fitted. Iv had a integrated fridge freezer fitted and the installer did not fit the white self adhesive strip. Has he made a mistake by not fitting it?

it is more about visual effect than functionality. and possible to use it without strip. But according to instruction must be installed.

Видео отличное, благодарю. Можете прокоментировать, в холодильнике при включении начал мигать свет и звучит сигнал, что холодильник набирает заданную температуру. Далее через пятнадцать минут свет потух и пока не включается. Как быть? Холодильник работает все в норме, только свет не горит.

I have exact same fridge but my fridge starts mscking vibrsting sound when compressor stsrts working and when it shutts down, dont know whst could be the reason, but the sound is as if it vibrates somewhere against cabinet.. Any idea what could happen?

As i know this size is not fit in for Metod cabinet due to height (Metod cabinet for fridge use additional wooden panel under fridge and fridge don't placed on the cabinet lower panel)

I also have this type of fridge but if I remove the wooden panel and then fridge will be placed directly on the lower panel, the ventilation will be done from below that panel (where the legs are) towards the back of the cabinet where I will leave some space. Did you try something like this?

@@ancag7296 In my opinion, the main reasons for using a bottom panel besides ventilation are access to the bottom hinge, increasing the load capacity of the cabinet, and providing the correct height at the top for mounting. This may affect the life of the product.
