I also have this and wouldn’t buy it again, came with my new build. Never dries properly, the filter condenser part at the bottom fills up soooo quickly after every wash and dry never dries properly takes hours, it’s filled up with over a litre of water every time!! It’s connected to mains so I don’t understand why it can’t take the water back out?? Never smells fresh either

Great video, thanks. I do also want a machine like this but am worried there is a bad side to these combination machines. Your comment on the smell makes me wonder if this has to have a a few empty runs to get rid of all the rubber fumes. Probably it needs good venting, it does has a condenser but the moisture has to go somewhere and the pump does not efficiently enough get rid of it. The Energy used with this sky-rockets to a blistering 350 KWh or more a year in normal use. My conclusion is that machines that have a 6-7 hours dry mode work best like all Eco washing modes do. Packing to much into the drumm makes it harder to pass hot air through (less tunble) and basically cooks the clothing jammed together. You should drastically reduce the amount if in wash and dry mode. Some BEKO models have an Optisense mode wich senses the moisture left and only stops at a certain level. Maybe your condenser is not working properly, might have that checked.

Using one for the first time as it came with my new flat. It has that awful "burning" smell that you mentioned. I'm not sure if to be concerned... but I am.
@allthingsmumlifeUK2 жыл бұрын
I wonder if anybody else has experienced that burning smell?! It may help to know if it is just a common thing with washer dryers?!!!
@adamski1012 жыл бұрын
It goes away after approx 10 uses. It is all the brand new rubber and gaskets inside heating up and letting off a smell which eventually completely goes. They all do it.

Also your not supposed to over fill it with clothes that’s why it probably didn’t dry it needs air flow haha do half loads and they will be bone dry and use extra dry not cupboard as extra dry dries the clothes completely

I have recently bought a the newer model of this machine. It does not have a lint collection filter and I am startiung to see a build up of lint around the rubber seal. I wipe the seal each time I used the machine but I am worried there will be a build up in the parts I can not get to. I am doing something wrong ?

Hi Sam! I am afraid I don’t know, perhaps other viewers can comment and help!? Do you mean lint build up from the dryer feature? I’ve never noticed a lint build up from using the machine just for washing and not drying :) Kindest Regards, MrsHomeMakerUK

I have the same question, we’ve had our for about 2 years and use it almost daily, we wipe the seal and the door but in comparison to the lint of our previous dryer, we do not understand where all the lint is going..

Hiya. I have this machine I will admit it’s a pain!!!! To dry: select cotton dry. Then on the right side of the machine, there is a button that says “drying” and click it until it selects EXTRA DRY. I have tried it on cupboard dry and my clothes still feel damp so I’ve found it only works with extra dry. I hope this helps and let me know how you get on!! X

@krakadylius13 жыл бұрын
@@allthingsmumlifeUK i found the issue and fixed it. The company that delivers currys washing machines has removed packaging and transit bolts before delivering washing machine. Two guys carried it to the first floor flat and just quickly connected. If you remove transit bolts before delivering the washing machine, there is a chance to damage electronics inside. And it damaged mine. I figured out how to enter beko diagnostics mode and error was presented. Then using service book i removed top cover and found a disconnected cable from the fan. Connected it and reset two tripped thermostats. And it started working 👍😃.

I bought today a more recent version of this machine, with almost same properties. I have tried the 5kg wash and dry program. The thing I noticed is that the water drain pump is running too often, ie 3 times in every 2 minutes, during the drying. When you consider that it takes 3 hours for a drying cycle, it means the drain pump starts and stops 270 times per one drying cycle! Is this the normal behaviour, or do I have a problem? Anyone having the same experience or is it only me? I would appreciate if someone could reply.
