Sammy’s voice may be the devil’s version of nails on a chalkboard, but his look at 19:29 did get me. Also, at 21:31, maybe there’s a secret backstory where the two are a secret gay couple, and to cover up their relationship, the made up a parody act to the point of lawsuits, to draw attention away.

So basically, they never got to a level where they were considered worth suing but if they had they would've SO been sued. Seems like a lot of people forget that some old movies could be bad too, we just see the good ones so we forget the bad ones were a thing.

Don't get me wrong, I still love movies like Dracula and White Zombie - and if I could afford to support Brad on Patreon I'd add him just so I could bug him into reviewing White Zombie - but there are some movies that even seeing one of your favorite actors is just not worth suffering for.

I remember seeing an ad for this movie on one of those "DigiView" DVD's you'd buy at the Dollar Store. In fact, I think I saw the DVD among the other Dollar Store DVDs like Leslie Neilsen in "Project Kill" and Sonny Chiba in "The Bodyguard". I then came acroos this movie again when I was surfing through a disambiguated version of "The 50 Worst Movies Ever Made". After watching this review, I have to say it definitely earned it's place on that list. Firstly, the title is really idiotic, "Bela Lugosi meets a Brooklyn Gorilla"?! Really?! Since Bela plays a character and not himself and the "Brooklyn Gorilla" was really Duke Mitchell transformed into a gorilla suit. Also as funny Sammy Petrillo could be, he does come off as a Jerry Lewis knockoff and he can also come off as pretty annoying. Great episode as always.

I think the purpose of pairing up that big girl with the possessed toilet brush from hell was so she could sit on him and keep him silent. But she probably couldn't keep him still long enough to do it, or simply decided she didn't want to be the village's sacrificial offer to the gods anymore. Girl: "I'm sorry, chief. I know you gave me an important job and it's my duty to keep the people safe from the demon, but... well, you've met him" Chief: "Forgive me, child. I should have known even the strongest one of us could not handle the curse by herself. But... have you tried throwing an axe at him?" Girl, pulling axe from the rack on the wall: "Cover me, I'm going in"

That was something!!! Why not do the 1967 "Casino Royale" next!!! I like the way they shot Orson Welles dead, and "THE END" come up, reminding us not to miss another hit spy film, "A Man Called Smart"!!!

This movie needed an Arch Hall, Jr. cameo.

YES! THE MOMENT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR! I saw this movie a few years, and ever since then, it's been my favorite so-terrible-it's-bad-film, and I've been dying to see a review of it. And now... THERE'S A REVEIW OF IT! Thanks Brad!
